The worst part is, even with as much readily available information at your fingertips people like you are the most ignorant we’ve had in all of human history. That’s says everything about what you are.

whatever, patriotism for most people in this country just a vibe,

I can assure you that for those of us whose fathers fought on foreign shores, were lucky enough to have them come back to this country, and yet have the souls of other family members and close friends left scattered across Europe and the Asian theater, it's not a "vibe".

It saddens me beyond explanation that they all willingly made those sacrifices to ensure you have the freedom to call patriotism a "vibe" and live in a country where you can be so spoiled that you feel no appreciation for it. I don't particularly feel like I want to chose when or where the National Anthem is played, but whenever it is--

It's not just a song.

Like - do they all just stand out there until one team eventually goes into the dugout?

Yes. They’ve had times where the umpire had to force the teams to get into the dugouts not to delay the game.

I thank you for an earnest response and I dont doubt that there are many to whom it does mean something, but there are certainly many who definitely wear it as a vibe, as in standing for song and putting a decal on their truck is a form of patriotism. The same people who do nothing to improve their country, community, and fellow citizen. Not dissimilar to many catholics who go to mass once a week yet lead decidedly unchristian lives. Im talking about people whos love of their country is wholly dependent on which party is in control. And there are many.

He was definitely not raised properly. He needs someone to show him the true meaning of that Flag and that song. Apparently he was raised by people that Country for granted. In other words, he’s IGNORANT of what that song stands for.

^^^ this.

But yet every game i see shite that's just fricking annoying. So here's a couple: they ask you to stand, remove your hat, salute if you're a Vet and so forth. All basic and all respectful. But cmon guys... is it hard to remove your hat? If it's an issue w/you and the flag... then just stay seated. Ladies, are you opposed to removing your hat?? You knew you were going to be asked and honestly... nobody give a shite about your bad hair day. AND TO MY FELLOW VETS.... you have feel honored enough to salute, but not remove your hat. It's a hat, not your PC.

Have a great Monday!
