perhaps Lee hasn't had much time for game prep due to Les letting him have time off to get his grades up so that he isn't ineligible for his final game...the national championship game. Did you think of that possibility before you flew off the handle in outrage??

Double standards suck and have no business in football or life. That is all.

I realize JJ thinks he's Superman, but I was unaware he played one against eleven and was victorious.

In other words, it's ok to shite on some of these kids as long as we win. But don't treat 'em shitty and lose 'cause that's classless.

Let's try this again.
Do what works.
Don't do what doesn't work.

For me, an undefeated season means the coach is doing what works.

I don't think you're a racist for disliking JJ.
I'm not in love with the guy.
But I do think, considering the teams we play and the other players we have, JJ is the best option (thanks largely to the option).

JL deserves the credit for leading this team the beginning of the season.
JJ deserves the credit for leading this team after that.
Let's acknowledge that JL has played more this season than JJ.

Both players have done terrible and excellent things for this team.

But I simply don't think refusing to play the back-up equates to "shitting" on a kid.
We may have different definitions.

And yes, the team is more important than any one player (to me).
You're always entitled to your opinion though.

lolwut?

He played the whole game. Don't put the backup in, after leaving him on the bench while he watched the starter suck it up in the first half doing things that would have gotten him benched instantly, just to take a knee. Huge slap in the face. If you're not going to trust him to do a better job than JJ, don't put him in for a knee. JJ played every offensive snap up to that point. He can play one more. Making JL that that knee is bad from a recruiting standpoint.

I keep hearing dumbasses such as yourself say he gives us the best chance to win, only problem is I'm not seeing on the field what the guy doing to support it.

Tonight's game was most prob the worst we've seen from JJ.

Then why is JJ starting? Why did he contintue to play today after playing one of the worst halfs of football in LSU history. You can't have it both ways.

You're talking out of both sides of your mouth. You say stick with what works. Then you disregard Lee's 9-0 start to the season. 25 yards. The QB provided 25 yards today. Is that the worst game ever for a QB that played all 4 quarters?

I tried to be as non-insulting and careful as possible when I wrote my piece.
I wanted to know how it would be received by posters such as yourself.
I now know.

You obviously care a lot about Jarrett Lee.
And you're right, that was probably the worst we've seen from JJ all season.
But what if JL had been put in?
I mean, early on, when you were probably calling for him to be put in (well, maybe not that early).

What if he totally botched it up (worse than JJ).
Pick, fumble, sack, pick.
What then?

My opinion is that JL cracks under the pressure of opposing defenses.
And since the Offensive line was wet paper-like in the first half, I imagine JL would have experienced a lot of defensive players in his face.

So yes, JJ is better for our needs.

What you don't see is JJ playing amazing.
Fair.
What you also don't see is JL screwing it up even more.
Why don't you see that?

One day, you'll run the team if you keep this up stellar backseat coaching.
Until then, trust in the undefeated head coach.

The truth WILL come out and it won't be pretty. JLee will be free from his LSU ties next year and won't owe us anything. That's when we'll hear what happened.

We have a better chance in the NC with JL and Mett than we do with JJ.

What if JJ goes in and we go an entire half with 7 total yards on offense with no first downs? Wait....

Also, JJ's first FOUR passes were all almost picked off, so there's another what if.
