Since McCarron is no threat to run, I would treat TR as a dual threat QB and spy on him every play. If he stays in to block, let his spy rush to that side and follow him into the flat, or behind the line for his shovel pass or whatever.
The key is - the spy can't get blocked by anybody but TR.

Anytime a DT get's stonewalled at the line, they might as well drop back a couple yards. Bama is a dump passing machine.

1) when you blitz you do not send the "house ", you pick your spots and attack a specific gap;
2) when you blitz, the non blitzing lb/db has to be assigned the rb or the blitzing lb/db on that(rb) side has to control his blitz to the extent that he can back off of it and cover the blocker if he tries to release
Easier than both is to appropriately scheme your blitzs. Ex:through film study determine which, if any, side tr generally provides a chip or block--strong/weak/blind etc. I assure you there is a tendancy. Then show blitz that side, back off at snap and blitz from opposite side. This way you defeat his attempt to assist the blocking scheme and you have coverage on the release side.

If we tackle well, our D will handle Bama's O.
