You are correct, my bad. Although I think he would have eventually headed to Columbus just like Spurrier would have eventually headed to Gainesville if LSU had hired him over Archer.

Ed Orgeron getting drunk on his own ego not realizing he had to nail every coordinator hire to keep the train rolling.

What made this story crazy was that the victim and the car's driver went to elementary school together, but one of them moved away and had lost touch with one another.

Another honorable mention: the downfall of Ryan Perriloux.

There’s no telling how many titles Miles would have if RP had played his full career at LSU and Lee had proper time to develop.

Bo Rein was my first thought, along with several others mentioned.

I guess, also, Pete Maravich dying so young from a congenital heart problem that should have kept him from ever playing.
