I watched Shaq v. Arizona in 1990 and remember Dick Vitale going crazy during the call. Just googled it and got this snippet, Youtube, but it got more irrationally exuberant as the game wound down.

You are one special dude.
I didn’t know Buddy Hield played for LSU.
Reading comprehension is a bitch.

Personally Thornton, Ben Simmons , and Tyrus/Baby/Mitchell all had some very memorable moments for me personally. I’m younger so I can’t speak about CJ or Pistol but I understand no one can top either.

Ben Simmons last night. Huge triple double in 22 minutes of play. Seriously though, Chris Jackson lighting up Florida.

Probably and Glen Davis Tyrus Thomas game during their final four run.
Glen was just unstoppable at time on the inside using his big body to over power people.

DeWayne Scales vs. Kentucky SECT final 1980. Other than Pistol Pete, the best performance by one player I have ever seen.

This was the best battle of two stars that I've ever seen. It's on youtube and worth watching...incredible plays over and over.
Also, Shaq in the Loyola Marymount classic had 20 points, 24 rebounds and 12 blocks. He was so dominant in a game with awesome players.

I was living in Columbus at that time. I am a life long diehard LSU fan, but went to State because it was just next door. I remember listening to the State radio broadcast and they were just in awe of Tasmin that night. A hell of a game!
