first, if you don't work on the field or are in turf, then shut up

the grass couldn't be laid down due to construction
we didn't lay the grass, company called munie did the entire up to right before they started practicing on it
blame munie if you must bitch, they've had it

the field was top dressed and airraded (I don't know the spelling)
and then is was overseeded, and I'm pretty sure it's not a winter grass, I think the box never was, don't qoute me on that, but I'm pretty sure it's just Bermuda, no rye

the sand you saw was to help protect, it is high traffic

the new guy is great, knows his stuff, waters the infield clay too much for my taste, but I am also just a student worker so I'll go along with the one who knows, I think he's going to be good

So I can look forward to real turf in Tiger Stadium this fall?

That'll be a first in many years.

It had to be a winter overseed. Bermuda is still pretty much brown.

But if he has to answer to Todd J. then things won't change. He is one of the main reasons things look the way they do.

I am going to stick my neck out and say yes, tiger stadium
will be good this year, and I myself will be pissed if it isn't

second, I don't think it was because they just reseeded this past week, like I said I think the box is only one grass, I am very possibly very wrong on this, but any green you do see came in in the past few weeks

Yes it is only Bermuda on the field right now, no ryegrass. The bermuda is slowly coming out of dormancy. The brown patches on the field are still dormant. With this warm weather we should see a surge in growth if proper maintenance occurs.

And you cannot see that there are two letters that were inversed..

Oh wait is that too big of a work for you? That means that while typing one letter was revered with the other letter.

Quick go play in your sandbox and let the adults talk. Oh wait I meant a kiddie sandbox not Alex Box just so you know.
