I remember having Simone and Sylvia. That was what made it elite, not Pokey.

Yet she had 8 assists to 1 TO at that point in the game. They trapped when we didn't expect it, it was a good coaching move by Summit. Seimone went 7-21 that game, despite not happening at the end that was a much larger contributing factor.

Well it would be a start if LSU had a coach. that could bring premier talent to BR. We haven't had that since Pokey.
Pokey was likely a better recruiter than a coach, but truth to be told talent is a bigger key to success in WBB than the coaching overall.

It was sad that Sue Gunter wasn't able to make it through the whole season when they went to their first Final Four. They went 30-4 the year before and went to the Elite 8. LSU had an awesome run back then (though they severely blew it against Tennessee in that first Final Four.
