Just wondering what he does or plans to do since retiring? Would love for him to eventually come back to Lsu at some point maybe as a running back coach. A player that spends that many years in the league should have a wealth of knowledge to pass down.

He was always a great remodel and be probably could relate to the kids well and be a stud recruiter.

Just something to think about if FW ever decided to leave.

Car dealership or financial advisor. Possibly sell insurance. Good players typically don't turn out to be very good coaches.

He was in Monroe around October signing autographs at the Dick's Sports grand opening.

I hope he was smart enough with his money so he doesn't have to do either one of those shite jobs.

He was a smart man, has several businesses. Hopefully we can use him for recruiting purposes, anytime you can walk into a kids house with 3 SB rings and say LSU got you to that next level and the reputation we have with pro teams and scouts is something you can't put a price on.

ok, i'm assuming you meant role model. i guess you aren't familiar with what he did to the carencro police dept. back in the day. the deputies said they've never had so much trouble restraining someone as he basically beat the shite out of the whole force. true story.

There was an altercation, at the time it was reported to have involved Faulk, a woman, and another man. Apparently the other man treated the woman with disrespect, there was the altercation, and some pushing and shoving when the cops showed up. The story went down that Faulk was basically just trying to protect the woman, and shoved a cop in the heat of the moment, was arrested for the shove, but when the story came out was given probation. That's why when Dinardo let him come in for the second half against Houston (to literally win the game) it wasn't that big of a deal.

If he had beaten up the whole force, he would've been suspended for the whole game.

ETA: In the cop's defense, trying to restrain Faulk was going to be tough. He had 11 men try to restrain him every Friday night without much success.

the story has mellowed over the years. back then, simple fisticuffs were forgiven and forgotton (as they should be; that is if they don't involve weapons and major injury). faulk was hell on wheels as a young man and he was hell on wheels as a rb too. art cantrell is only LSU rb i can recall that was as tough.
