This is a gift, hopefully Daniels can learn it. Danny Wuerffel won the Heisman throwing to where his receivers were gonna be.
Not that I expect that kind of production, but with this receiving crew he should be able to keep defenses on their heels.

It’s a new year. Nabors isn’t coming off the field for bech

He has you fooled too I see. There's several plays you can see on the sky cam where he turns his head, goes through progressions and has WRs EVERYWHERE open on the field. He acts like Stevie Wonder and doesn't see the field at all because they're asking him to process too much too fast. Not a coincidence he's better in tempo offense where he can make a read quick.
I'm not dogging him. He is what he is and he has lots of potential but it's highly unlikely you're fixing his vision problem and throwing anticipation routes this season. Either he's not seeing the field in front of him or he just completely lacks all confidence in throwing. Either way, just because he's turning his head doesn't mean he's actually going through progressions and seeing the field. You need to watch the games again and look at it from an angle where you can see the WRs running routes.
He is not turning the ball over because he doesn't have confidence in his throwing ability. He's not throwing WRs open in smaller windows. That signifies he has both a confidence and vision problem seeing the field.

That is still better than what pretty much all of our receivers have done so far this year in a game.
Might want to talk to Daniel’s about this problem and not Bech or the receivers.

Let’s revisit the stats after the season is over.

Bech isn’t transferring. He’s best friends with our starting QB next year

Well that should shut down all this stupid speculation and bullshite.

I want to take boutte out for him.

Mason Taylor pretty much took his spot
Which is inexcusable. Bech was our best receiver after Boutte, who clearly isn’t the same, went down last year.
Unless he’s still injured - someone alluded to a stress fracture - he’s neck and neck with BTJ as our WR3.
Hilton and Lacy havent shown anything, and Taylor’s blocking isn’t enough to to make up for the difference in receiving skills.

Let’s quit talking about all the different receivers. This is a simple comparison between Taylor and Bech. I think Bech is much more talented and had a helluva freshman year, but he he is just undersized and perhaps injured. There are 2 overriding factors:
1) Injury: while he seems healthy and gets some snaps, Bech apparently had a leg injury in the fall. Coach Kelly dismissed it as “shin splints” but he likely had a stress fracture and Coach didn’t want to disclose that.
2) Mason Taylor considerations: Mason Taylor has 2 things going for him VS Jack Bech. First of all he is 3 inches taller and 35 pounds heavier. Secondly, he has pedigree as the son of Jason Taylor.
Personally, I think Bech is a superior athlete and TE to Taylor. But, I think unless Taylor really screws something up Brian Kelly has no incentive to go Bech>Taylor.
So… having said all that. Bech into the portal 2023.

Dang only 8 pages on Bech. Thought there’d be at least 15

If it’s the injury, then hopefully that resolves itself.
I agree with you about isolating Bech vs Taylor, and it shouldn’t even be close. MT just doesn’t need to be out there right now - he’s made so many freshman mistakes, including one that almost lost the FSU game followed by one that did.
If you want heavy blocking, go with the veteran Mashburn. But Bech is a capable blocker in addition to having some of the best hands on the team.
