Miles will never win the SEC again. He will continue to be dominated by superior coaching within the conference.

And LSU will continue to have drive killing false start/substitution penalties and timeouts wasted as long as Miles/Crowton and the rest of the offensive coaching shite brigade have the reigns. It's happened every game this year and people still think it will change. Miles is terrible.

I wonder how crazy this board would be; would the the same folks wanting Miles' head now be the same folks posting every 10 minutes?

The game sucked, it was a huge mistake (that i promise you he will take to his grave and it WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN)...but as long as Les is a Tiger i am a fan guys sorry but that is just how it is and always will be for me.

It has been clear to me for the last 2 seasons, that Les Miles isn't a top tier SEC coach. I can deal with losing, but it's the manner in which we are losing games. I realize we have started two "green" QB's these past 2 years, and there is a margin of error there. But the lack of player development, the lack of preparedness, and terrible game/clock management, and team discipline on the field is inexcuseble. I see zero improvement with the product on the field. Yes the Defense played better as the year went on, but it is nowhere on the level of what we should be capable of. So I have no faith in Les Miles ability to run this program. Now I am open for him to stay, just because I am not totally sure that there is a better replacement available. But another year of this crap, he should be told thanks for his service, and have a great day looking for a new job.

Mudhole...that's my quote. Save it if you'd like. I would like for you to be able to shove it back in my face. But you won't, cause Miles will not win it again.

I love how no matter what, they always forget that Les recruited this talent. So when it was Sabans recruits, he won with somebody elses recruits. If he fires Crowton and we win out next year, it will just be because of the talent. That he recruited. Including the new OC and DC.

He'll never catch a break again from these types of morons so who cares what they think. I hope Les is smart enough to ignore the mouthbreathers and just do his damned job BEFORE it gets out of hand from now on. He's been too slow up to now on correcting trends. And he needs to have Flava Flav walking around behind him on clock management and nothing else.

SEC West next year would be a nice step in the right direction and we're poised to do it if you can clear the tears out of your eyes and look around without the emotion for once.

What I love is how the Miles fanboys think they are the only rational ones in the place.

Also funny is that after this game even the most devoted are admitting that he is terrible at clock management but writing that off as no big deal.
As if it's a common occurrence for a coach to be absolutely terrible at one very important aspect of coaching (and one that points directly at his mental capacity) but still a great coach worthy of $4 million a year in other aspects.

I guess for you to think Miles might just be an average to below average head coach after all he'd have to make similarly glaring mistakes in other aspects.

He's a great recruiter, never mind that we are going into our 3rd straight year with questions at QB and seem to be deficient on both sides of the line.
He's a great ambassador for the program, never mind that he's a terrible speaker, can't explain anything coherently, and has publicly lost his temper on numerous occasions.
He's a great motivator, never mind that we shat the bed against Troy last year, were outgained by LaTech and have only looked fired up on a few occasions this year despite coming off of the worst year in recent memory.

If anybody thinks that Miles can't right this ship, they're crazy. I'm not saying he will or that he "has a want", but if he dominates his next 2 opponents, the storm will calm.

Winning cures a lot.

If we had any offense this year - top 50 even - we would be in the midst of a national championship run.

CAN he right the ship? That's the $18 million question.

If Miles turned it around - (learned from his mistakes) - I'd be more than happy to return my support to him. I hope he can do it - I just don't think he can. I think he wants to, but I'm not sure he has the ability.

RP has been in very little trouble since transferring.

It makes you wonder if LM management skills were better if he could have done a better job mentoring RP, and then none of this discussion takes place.

I'm with you; as long as Les Miles is wearing the purple and gold, I respect him. Do I think he's a good coach? No. He is not an SEC caliber coach.
If we blow out Arkansas, win the SEC next year, and make it to the NC game, I will be very happy but I still think he's a horrible coach who rides the pure talent of our players. Once he gets them to come to LSU, he has no idea how to coach them.

Well, none of that is going to happen as long as GC is around. I don't mind given Les one more year to make some changes and make another run. And if GC sticks around and does do all these things you say, then I'll be the first one on here to say I was wrong. So, don't hold your breath.
