The subject is Miles. And the fact that he's got most of this team in championship caliber again. Pretty much everything across the board except for one piece. And instead of acknowledging that, LSU rantard fanbase wants to fire the guy who's got us back into the top ten and is only missing ONE PLAYER.

Yes - that is indeed the point.

So far, he's brought the Defense back from the dead. (if you're gonna blame him for the offense you have to credit him for the defense. Chavis is his guy same as Crowton)

All true, except for ONE very important thing you forgot to include. Crowton road the short bus, along with Miles...Chavis did not. I can promise you that Miles DOES NOT give Chavis a list of plays he can run like he does to Crowton...

It's not one player fool.

It's the fricking QUARTERBACK. If it was the goddamn slot receiver we WOULD NOT be having this conversation.

If I have a ferrari F50, but no engine....do I still have a ferrari?

In the off chance that JJ really started playing well and had a "stellar game" against Tennesse, there is large a portion of our fanbase who would begrudgingly watch in utter disgust.

why even waste your time making that point b/c you know that won't ever happen pumper. JJ is actually getting worse. I have to put the blame on LM and GC for that. Fisher made Marcus Randle a decent qb which proves this coaching staff has shite the bed in the qb department.

If JJ started playing well??

I would be absolutely extatic, happy for JJ and happy for our team.

But from what I have seen so far, I do not see that happening.

Better Question: What makes you think JJ will ever start playing well? What has he ever done to make anyone believe that he can be an effective SEC QB? What has he done to earn this loyalty from the coaching staff?

It doesn't have to happen with JJ for the point to be illustrated.

The "turn around" is already happening with other players and parts of the team's performance. Yet we still see a growing faction of our fanbase that would prefer to see short term failure if it facilitates a change in the head coach situation.

As the OP said, this thread is really about Miles.

This is 100% pure and total bullshat. Show me one post, ONE, where a person has said that they want Jefferson to fail and LSU to lose the game. You won't and you can't, because you made it up.

Weak.

So you reference phantom posts and then challenge me to find them.

The point, since you seemed to have missed it, is that there is a growing faction of the fanbase who want Miles gone no matter what.

And if you can't find evidence containing that sentiment here (i.e. multiple posts), then you're 100% blind .

I'm not the one claiming phantom sentiment. Dude, you are delusional at best. Your "point" is a fantasy. YOU have nothing to back it up at all.

Furthermore, you stick with the logical fallacies by Demanding Negative Proof from me.

The phantom posts I'm talking about are the "evidence containing that sentiment here (i.e. multiple posts)." Do you always contradict yourself so quickly?

Would it make you feel better, counselor, if I used the word "opinion", that's it's my "opinion" that a significant portion of the fan base want to see Miles gone no matter what?

Geez. If you're not a attorney you really should be one.

Anyone who can't see that there is some wrist-slitters out there over the Miles situation is either in denial or simply an ideologue looking for a debate.

PS. Please don't "humiliate me" by demanding that I find actual pictures of fans slitting their wrists.

Ok, you start by saying my statement is the stupidest ever regarding JJ, and then you conclude with this (see above).

What I said was that on here on Rant, yes, people will still have some criticisms because they are rantards.

But for most tiger fans they will stop the criticism if he starts playing better.

I don't think it was in any way contradictory.
I thought I did a good job of explaining how you shouldn't take the retards on the rant for Tigerfans overall. There are people on here who will continue to complain just to push buttons and try to piss people off.

I guess I should have stuck in a "here on the Rant" into my statement re: will the criticism ever fully stop. That's what I meant.

Sorry for the confusion.

I think we are all pretty much close in feeling about this stuff, we want what's best for the team.

I just don't see the point in complaining about the complainers.

JJ will suddently start playing well when pigs fly.

Lee may suddently start playing well when he gets a chance to accually play.

Take your pick.

True.

What's also true is that after a while reasonable people start to push back a little at all the bitching and whining.

Ironic, perhaps...but the wrist-slitters do not have a monopoly of on the concept of ranting.

That is 100% bullshat!!! You made this up! I challenge you with my superior intellect to find one post where people have stated that they continue to complain just to piss people off!!! You won't because you can't!

So, again, the best you have done is assumed that people are "wrist-slitters." How does this in any way show that people on here actually WANT LSU TO LOSE? I'm not an attorney, but I can form and support a coherent argument. You seem to be struggling with that.
