And had one month to practice with the team before the game. Do you think we win? Do you think could got the ball off and made something happen?

Brees would dice that secondary up, as long as our OL could block long enough for him to make the throws

Wouldn't matter. Nobody can see your name if you're flat on your arse.

He would have been sacked and hurried all game with nowhere to throw the ball.

If the drew Brees of today was the qb of LSU, with Sean Payton as coordinator and 3 weeks. LSU wins by 21. If drew brees is the oc and calls all the plays on the field we win by 3. If drew brees is the quarterback and CE is the coordinator we lose by 14

I would have expected him to call the plays.
LSU would have scored. He would have thread the needle, and completed more passes.
Not sure if LSU would have won the game, but they definitely would have scored.

Burreaux was welcomed to the SEC, so I imagine next year he will do better.
He knows what to expect.

Win? Maybe. Certainly would’ve been a much better showing as I’m sure he would have audibled each play versus running all the slow developing plays coming in from SE.

But we didn't need Drew Brees last night because we have Joe Burrow, remember.

The QB has to have blocking to be good. But he has to be better saying that I'm for Burrow but not talented enough to beat bama. He played timid and scared to me last night and against MSU.

Are you kidding... we would have won by 30 at least.

ETA: stupid arse thread. But the most accurate QB in NFL history would have sat back in the shotgun and had the ball out in under 3 seconds every time and on a dime.
