Sure, but if you're looking at his accomplishments from a "what are you working with?" aspect
What Miles works with is has responsibility other than for injuries. I can understand the problems that come bout due to playing QBs new to the LSU program, but that doesn't explain away his lack of having a QB prepared to step in after Mett.
Unlike some of our sports challenged crowd, I didn't go all "the sky is falling" and want Miles out in 08 and 09 after RP did his thing and screwed over the team. That team was set at QB with a talented Jr., RS So., and true Fr.
This is different. The staff knew what they had after Mett and there is really no good excuse for having to turn to a true Fr. by the 2nd SEC game of the yr. This QB bump in the road can be laid squarely at the feet of Miles/Cam.
With the power running game we should have this season and improved QB play, which we also SHOULD have, 10 wins or more should be expected. Lets just hope the D can improve as well.

I want a QB who is able to win games with his arm, not be able to just manage them.
I don't give two shits who that is as long as they can consistently stretch the field

I agree. Mett had that capability, but it was slim pickins prior to him or since.

Not to mention the fact that we were one play away from losing 4 straight bowl games in those years.
What are you talking about? The Iowa game? I would hardly call it a fact that we were one play away from losing that game, particularly due to the fact that we won by 7, making it impossible to win the game in one play.
I think you could argue we were one play away from winning 2 of those losses a lot easier, based on the FACT that we actually lost on the last play of the clemson game. Oh, yeah I guess we lost on the last play of the ND game too.
Why do you continue to post such nonsense?

The easy answer is they thought more highly of Rivers than they should have and Gunner Kiel screwed us over.
Cameron wasn't around for either lapse in recruiting, and looks to have shored up that area in a big way. God willing, Harris, Franks, and Zadock will take us far into the future without any additional heartbreak.

If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, wouldn't every team win a national championship?

but a bowl loss always puts a damper on the season...
Not to me... Anything can happen in a bowl game... Depending on what Bowl and how motivated the team s... The BAD losses to MSU,AU,and Arkie, means to me that it is more than a QB problem...24 yards of offense is just horrible and inexcusable... That game was all on Les....

I will be happy he showed improvement and made the most of his opportunity! I don't think this will happen tough.

We could have done better in 2012. Were it not for a late game Chavis collapse
The only game I blame n Chavis is the Bama game.. FLA game the D played outstanding. It was Miles and dreadful game plan in that loss... The Ole Mis game,AGAIN I put on Miles... The team thought they were going in there and do to a depleted Ole Mis D and do what they did in 2011 @ Ole Miss... By the time they realized what hit them it was to late... Yes Mett had a rather bad game.... But Miles took hill out after his fumble and he pouted the rest of the game....

The Arkansas game reminded me so much of the championship game against Alabama. By halftime of both games, I knew we weren't going to win. I don't know how to phrase it, but both times it looked like we weren't even TRYING to win. Go into the game with the idea that we'll go with the power running game. If that doesn't work...well, just keep doing it. Keep butting your head against that wall. Very frustrating.

Way to combine two different seasons together you dumbfrick. LSU didn't lose to Ole Miss in 2012. The previous poster mentioned the 2012 season yet you respond by bringing up an Ole Miss game that was in 2013.

Fifteen pages. Wow.
In the history of the world has an impossible hypothetical ever been this extensively discussed?

There is a better chance of Zach Lee showing up and playing like a boss.
