My exact thoughts. Total cringe. What made that offense special was the combination of Burrows leadership and work ethic, the chemistry him and the receivers built + elite NFL talent at every skill position. Also calling it the “Joe Brady offense” is disrespectful to Jake Peetz and the perspective he brings.

You are talking about an offense installed by a guy two years ago who isn’t even here. You ever here Saban say boy we really have to get back Lane Kiffins offense.
You may not hear it, but Kiffin and Sark were cut from the same tree. You definitely see it in style.

is the fact that he made them look like total idiots in 2019. While they were crying and whining he was winning the national championship with the best college football team ever assembled.
He hurt their pride and idiocy and they hate him for it.

* Canada.
* Pelini.
* Linehan.
* Joseph still on staff. (Nikki Fargas level coaching
ability)
* Cregg still on Staff. (Has been weak in both OL
development and recruiting, up until the 2022
Campbell/Bordelon/Taylor class. Couldn't finish the
deal on Tristan Leigh either)
* Neilsen hiring fiasco.
* Purple "Circus Clown" shoes and leggings.
* Public photo in bed with the Golddigger Ho.
* Open lips sink ships.
Other than these, He's Fine. (The traditional and well worn out Pump Lump favorite term.

Joseph doesn’t have a job because of his coaching ability that’s why they bring in a PGC with WR coaching experience. His job is to recruit New Orleans and he is great at it. He has a job until he decides to leave LSU.

So as people have pointed out in the spring game the offense looked more like 2019.
The coaches have said thats what they are looking for but its pathetic to you for Coach O to talk about it
Pathetic thy name is topass88

“More like 2019”?
None of our QBs comes close to Burrow, on passing, much less escapability when there is pressure.
We have ONE Very good WR, instead of three great ones, each of whom had more experience than Boutte.
We are awful at TE compared to Moss.
Our OL is nowhere near as good as 2019.
And none of our RBs can compared to CEH in any aspect of the game.
Otherwise, we are just like 2019 on offense...

No one is expecting the best offense that college football has ever seen again.

what I have never understood, and never will...is why would we abandon the best offense in college football history? Why would any coach do such a thing? Don't change until they show they can stop it...right?
This just makes me believe even more than I did at the time, that Brady was the brains, and Ensminger really never grasped it like was advertised. If he did, we wouldn't have change a thing.
It appears under Brady, that no one could stop us, even if they knew what was coming. That is what was so exciting about that offense.
Still baffled!
Saban. You cant play nickel all the time because Joe will always know what you are doing.
Saban. When they do fake snap and look to the sideline they are not always changing the play, upstairs is telling them what you are in.
Saban. Clyde is the biggest mismatch at his position in the country.
Kirby. They run 28 plays in a row and not change personnel.
Kirby. They run hurry-up not to run the ball, they take shots down the field.
Jimbo. They move those players all around to create mismatches.
My point is yes the scheme was solid. But these coaches are telling you in different ways that the brains of Joe Burrow and the talent of 4 1st round draft picks at WR and RB was a mismatch for any college team.
NO ONE in the college game was going to match up with what we put out on the field.
Auburn was lucky. To that point in the season, Joe had never seen anyone play 7 dbs and we made some mistakes in the red zone or we would have blown them out by 21+.
Clemson had won 29 games and had a stupid good defense. It took over a quarter for us to figure them out and we still could have put 50 on them. We ran the ball most of the 4th and took a knee on the 5.

What is wrong with you people. Orgeron had the guts to make the decision to go with a spread offense.. orgeron hired Brady... orgeron recruited burrow. And Chase and JJ and Marshall and Clyde

What is wrong with wanting success year in and year out. To be successful and in the mix every year like Bama, Clemson, OSU, Etc. I’m just supposed to not care for five years or so because we had a great year in 2019?

Well isn't a head coach supposed to have a plan and hire coaches and recruit to execute his plan? The answer is yes.
Your analysis is that when Orgeron was successful that in your eyes he was just Lucky. Yep, Lucky to get a QB who Urban Meyer did not want and told that he threw like a girl.
Yep, lucky that he had met Joe Brady and seen him coaching with the Saints and saw something in AN UNKNOWN COACH and hired him.
Just like Orgeron saw something in a short RB from Catholic High but he wanted him and signed Clyde Edwards Hellaire. In addition Orgeron recruited the whole damn team and staff yet he was "lucky". Lucky went 15-0 and won an National Championship by beating every single one of the Top 4 teams from the beginning of the season. LOL.
Name another team which was that lucky in the History of College Football. I suppose the other previous Champions were all just a result of great coaching and recruiting and hiring had nothing to do with any of them?
The truth is that some of you are just dumbasses.
