Did those same people mention who the current offer is out to right now before they go all in on Kiffin if he doesnt accept?

Of course he is. You can't create/inflate a bidding war by conveying you aren't interested in one of the bidders. Lane will be very welcoming to the idea of being LSU's coach...and Florida's coach.....and staying at Ole Miss. And if Auburn and/or Texas has an opening, he'd be very welcoming to the idea of being their coach too...all with the singular goal of driving his price up as high as possible before having to ultimately make a decision.

Tennessee - 53% win percentage
USC - 65% win percentage
Florida Atlantic - 67% win percentage
Ole Miss - 73% win percentage

Yea, huge fricking mistake

In contrast, here's Brian Kelly's stats:
Central Michigan - 54%
Cincinnati - 85%
Notre Dame - 73%
LSU - 70%

Lane Kiffin has been on a steady upward trend while Brian Kelly went up from Central Michigan to Cincinnati, then steadily downward from there.

Lane Kiffin has been better coaching at Ole Miss than he was in the Pac fricking 12. Lane has to be our top target.

Lane is in the middle of a playoff run…nothing will happen until either they lose and are out of the CFP picture or the season is over.

I for 1 think it will also be Lane.

How can anyone know this with any certainty?

My take is that it's going to happen. I think Lane wanted it when O got it, amd I think he wanted it when Kelly got it.

What's going to be intriguing is his potential staff, mainly on the DL coach.

Of course they are. I’m sure they’re tickled to death there’s a bidding war for their client.

He’s the 25’ version of Lincoln Riley. The only way LSU is getting him is with a contract that would make Brian Kelly blush. If we sign up for that again, lord help us.

Philly actually does have some level of inside knowledge,

But, does he really? Read back on his posts and it sounds like speculation most of the time, or flat out wrong.

I'd like Kiffin.

He should have been here in 2022.

so we are going to fire the AD that gave BK a 10/$100M contract with 90% buyout, so we can go hire Lane Kiffin and give him a 10/$130M contract with 90% buyout, b/c that's what he's going to want?

Makes a ton of sense govner.

He would just come out and celebrate how none of that money would be paid by the taxpayers....all while knowing none of it was going to be paid by the taxpayer anyway.

It's an optical illusion. He's championing the taxpayer in a fight that isn't actually necessary.

Lane literally said monday there is too much money in the sport. He said the same thing Govna said today.

Lane would come for a 5/50 with large incentives.

Exactly people here really think the governor's words are bigger than LSU brand. His delivery sucked but "most" of what he said was correct. We will be fine

OK but do either of them know who is actually hiring the coach? Cause it aint gonna be the current AD.
