Agree completely…

I have been to every SEC stadium and have never been treated as bad as I have seen visitors treated in Tiger Stadium.

TS has the potential to be one of the greatest venues on a given night but the circumstances have to be just right ie top 10 undefeated matchup at home with stakes nowadays

Yep it’s actually quite pathetic if we aren’t playing a top tier team or a rival or if LSU isn’t at least contending for the SEC. Empty seats everywhere and about half full after halftime because pussies can’t handle a little traffic to enjoy something we only get 8 times a year. But it’s the absolute best at night against Bama, Auburn, Florida, etc. Just wish we showed up a little more in the other games. Before anyone gives me that “where are you?” BS, I’m there. Every game for the whole game

Same. I've got two more to hit now that OU is in the conference. aTm is my other, and I'll scratch that off the list this Fall.

The only people I have ever seen treated truly bad by anyone other than some blackout college kids (you’ll get that everywhere) and not just some ribbing were bringing it on themselves and I hardly ever miss a game. Georgia fans are the absolute worst I have encountered. Grown men barking in your face. It’s absurd. Went to the Egg Bowl and expected to see some contentious shite but the State and Ole Miss fans acted like the others weren’t even there. Just completely ignored each other unless they were a group of friends/family

I guess I don’t see the same stuff going on as some of you or just don’t go to where it happens. At both the tailgates I participate in, we invite opposing fans to join us. They are treated with respect and have a great time! The only thing I see is yelling Tiger Bait to opposing fans as they walk along Nicholson toward the stadium. I’ve never seen anyone take offense. They just laugh and keep on walking.

Some of the worst fans I've witnessed in Tiger Stadium over the last 30 years have been VISITORS.

I was at a game against ULL years ago. They had a father and son in ULL jerseys sitting in front of us They had some drunk LSU fans behind us kept throwing stuff at the them Finally the dad had enough turned around and started in on the LSU drunk fans ( 3 of them ) some of the LSU fans told the drunk guys to STFU But I’ve seen some other stuff also that wasn’t good

Being originally from Oklahoma, I can tell you the reputation of LSU "fans" is based on all the drunken idiots in New Orleans in 2003. Not an accurate representation of the true fans, but things were apparently so bad that Oklahoma fans just can't get past it.

I work with many guys from other fanbases and almost everyone would disagree with this.

Honestly, it's not a agree or disagree thing. I've seen it, witnessed it and lived it....both the good and the bad - it happened. I'm glad your co-workers did not have to experience the bad like the fans I referenced did, and I'm glad they seemed to experience the very good treatment like I also referenced.

They are all in awe of the combination of the amazing tailgating before the game and the fact that those same people that were so inviting before the game were so passionate at night during the game. I have had many fans of opposing teams tell me that Tiger Stadium was an experience that they will never forget and even exceeded its lore. This is the best sporting experience in all of American sports and I would highly recommend anyone to experience an SEC night game at Tiger Stadium.

I have two primary tailgates for LSU home games and much as with you, that's not where the problem lies, we treat opposing fans like royalty. That's not where I've seen the unfortunate incidents I allude to.

Just one of several examples I could give, good friend of my wife and I's son is from here, graduated from Catholic and went to A&M and was very excited to bring his friends to the game here. She said they were treated very rudely both outside the stadium and inside.

I said yeah those drunk students can be assholes, she said, oh no - it was not just the students it was adults to being rude and obnoxious to them. And I know this kid and saw the group he was with and I can garauntee you this group of kids wasn't poking the bear, or Tiger if you will - nerds personified.

I felt bad, didn't know what to tell her other than, you should have brought them by our tailgate they would have been treated very well....so sorry.

Several other incidents similar unfortunate incidents I've witnessed personally over my 50 years of fandom here as well.

You missed the 2019 season??

Our season tickets in the NEZ have been passed down from my family longer than I've been alive
Every time I stepped into the stadium for the 2019 season, myself and everyone around me, were very aware that we were watching history being re-written.

All I could think about was, "man, I'm so thankful to God for allowing me this opportunity to be in attendance to witness the most remarkable football of my life."

. I was ashamed of my fellow fans.

This is a weekly occurrence at big games. It’s really pathetic the way these younger fans treat visitors . Not something to b proud of , but they appear to be.

They say it’s just not worth it to have to put up with drunk assholes that seem to focus more on them than the actual game. Not a place to bring the family.

Due to circumstance I have a few friends who are Ole Miss fans and grads and they each never turn down an invite to make a game in TS, even non-conference games. It's college football Valhalla.
