This is horseshite. I don't think this will have any impact on how Bama plays against LSU. If they beat UGA it doesn't even matter what Bama is ranked going in to that game.

It’s a game it needs to be played. Anything can happen.

Unless we get 2 turnovers and/or a defense or special teams TD we will not beat Bama. We are not winning the SEC until we have a passing offense at least in the top 50% of college football. Proud of the way we played last few games but we still need a passing offense to win the big games.
To get there we will need improvement at QB and OL. We should be better next year at these positions but by how much?

Bama is a deserving favorite. 21 may be a bit high. But they are a legit favorite.
Our D has given up a ton of yards on the ground and Bama has a very good OL and rushing attack. Their strength, our weakness.
I think our DB’s matchup well with their WR even Ridley.
IF, IF we can stop the run and IF IF we can force Hurts to beat us from the pocket (not allowing designed runs or scrambles)?
IF IF we can do that I think our D can minimize Bama’s scoring.
Can we score on their D? Much like my vision on how to stop Bama’s O, I think Bama will gameplan to stop the run and make Etling beat them.
Will the OL give him enough time? Will he stay in or step up in the pocket make his progressions and deliver the ball? I don’t know. If the OL plays well and Etling does what he hasn’t all season? Perhaps we can move the ball and score.
But we haven’t stopped the run consistently all year nor have we been effective passing the ball.
Can it happen? I hope so.
