this team is not on 2019 level. This looks to be a 10-2 type team.

The QB position will be pivotal.

If Brennan plays and stays healthy...10-2 or 11-1
If Max plays...10-2 or 11-1
Nussmeyer will Redshirt.
Finley will transfer.

Why expose yourself?
Alabama had their entire team, that played in a bowl game, come back.
A&M had a Sr dominated team back.
How many teams in the SEC was forced to use a true freshman QB?
I'm amazed that freshmen QBs could play as well as they did, with all the new players.

If O comes out clean from all the Title IX stuff, which is far from a certainty, I'd say he should get the benefit of 2 or 3 very mediocre seasons before seriously considering replacing him. On the one hand, he turned in arguably the best season any college team has ever had, but on the other...when you get paid >$3M/year there is not a lot of tolerance for mediocrity (and several assistants make bank too).

What is the difference between this team and the 2019 team after Spring practice in 2019.

Go back and remember the lengthy threads where poster after poster were scoffing when it was posted that we would score 40-50 points game.

Who was predicting our offense would be better than 2018.
Who was predicting our defense, after the 2019 Vanderbilt and Ole Miss games, that we would have a championship defense.
I remember!

Absolutely nothing...you can’t expect anywhere near normal football with this damn virus lurking. Be thankful you had any football to watch at all last year. You forget, we would have had a pretty decent bowl game, if we would have wanted to play in one.

I agree.

Think about it. Other than Bama who seems to win every other season now, what program would even take this, for example?

Win National Championship.
0-12
0-12
0-12
Win National Championship.
0-12
0-12
0-12
Win National Championship.

I know the above is a ridiculous example, but yeah, I would think winning the whole thing should buy the head coach a few years.

All the dots will be tough. Need to see ‘most’. Last year we had ‘hardly any’.
