That is why...this is the year to finally do something strong in the postseason. The gold is here now. Next two years, good ole Paul will be whining about "how young we are ".

Exposed coaching staff? Like next year will be the first year Paul loses a lot of good players.
You people are fricking idiots

It will be a huge challenge, to say the least.

Those who want to see CPM gone could have an even stronger argument should the Tigers struggle in conference play next season.

Well if Lange doesn't get it together this year, he may be back because his draft stock will fall a bit. He's a first rounder all day, something is going on with him right now. He will more than likely get it together by the end of the year.

But other than that happening, we may be in a big bind for pitching. Walker is the only serviceable starter at this point IMO, he will be pretty damn good next year. Saturday and Sunday will be tough. Probably will be made of one of the midweek guys now and a possible big freshman.

Next year will hurt undoubtedly, not like last year. Last year we were trying to figure out batting while pitching would be decent. Batting came through. Next year we will have to replace probably the best Fridsay and Saturday guy in the NCAA, along with Freeman, Robertson and Deichmann. I'm less concerned about batting cause of the impact the freshman and sophmores are making now. Pitching will be tough, with the shape the staff is in now especially the bullpen.

I remember not too long ago when Lange was an incoming freshman (wasn't even the most talked about freshman pitcher) and Poche had slightly more experience as our Friday night starter, and they developed into a great 1/2 combo.

Someone needs to step up. Hopefully we see someone do that to close the season going into the next to calm ourselves down.

Have you seen Walker pitch? He should progress close to tha t level next year.

Hess is likely to have one of the other starter spots, he has great stuff.

The third spot could be an incoming freshmen, or they could make a guy like Gilbert, Norman, or Bain (If he comes back) a starter.

Cannizarro set us up with some really great classes for the next 3 years. Talent shouldn't be an issue. Development and maturity of the new guys will tell the tale
