What happened to the great pitching

The defense fell apart. And the pitching got hit.
It's been a combination of both. Both have been really good this year, and both have been really bad tonight.

Agree. One game but it’s against a team that hasn’t hit very well so far. Team looks meh and not interested. Baseball is a strange game and maybe it puts a charge in the tigers and they clean it up. Hitting still is borderline bad at the moment. Long season and state took 2 of 3 from us last year so who knows. Rather be grooving in may and June than March.

MSU was batting .283 against nonconference. Not very encouraging.

It’s been kind of an ugly game/just not their night. We looked pretty good early but had a weird couple of innings and then it seemed things just got wonky. We’ll see what happens in bottom of the 9th though.

State hasn’t hit that well this year so far. Perplexing. Maybe they shot their wad tonight, who knows. Interested to see how we respond. Clutch 2 out hitting by state tonight and tigers haven’t done shite with the bats since the 3rd inning.
