Changing the total runs scored to just single digits.

Scoreboard was too big, swapping it out for more ad space

Maybe saving it from damage when not in use.

An alternative option may be that they are adding a cool sacrifice bunt feature for next year.

Apparently replacing it.
It was pelted by so many baseballs, it was time to do something.

Noticed during supers how impressive the Ark and Texas ones were - it needed an upgrade. Technology has changed a lot since 2009 already.

Now, fix the damn batter's eye and we will be in business.

I thought it had already been replaced since 2009.

Yes, Yes, and Yes! My tickets are in those bleachers and it's ok when the stands aren't absolutely packed but when they get packed its miserable.

Agree with this. The green folding chairs should have been put everywhere in the stadium. I’m still not sure why they didn’t extend the cover down both baselines. Guess that’s just an expense they couldn’t afford

eh i'd rather them fool with other areas of the park that need work more. I've noticed in other stadiums, including professional stadiums, that they, too, have similar structures in place. For example, Huntington Park, one of the nicer minor league stadiums, has the same "cheap" batters eye

I guarantee you it was cheaper to do green than purple and gold.
