I know he had offseason surgery right after the bowl game. other than that what is his status? Have heard absolutely nothing about him during camp. Is he still nursing the recovery or did he get absolutely buried in the depth chart with the emergence of Chase and Marshall? I hope not. He had some HUGE TD's last season for us. He's great in the slot and is probably our fastest WR.

He's around. Been battling injuries. But he should be ready for week one.

Love dillon, but I would LOVE to see Jefferson, Chase, Marshall as our starting 3 with Sullivan at the Y.

He hasn’t been very consistent, mostly because he doesn’t catch the ball with his hands. He had some bad drops last year.
He needs to get better and be way more consistent to be of significant value imo.
But yes, he did have a few big plays last year, and hoping he has more in him.

He'll contribute this fall. He's been steady all fall camp in that second group of WRs.

Dillon is explosive. I just hold my breath every time he gets tackled. Seems to hold on to the ball so loosely

H

He did drop some passes but he had the highest catch ratio of any returning receiver on the team who had more than 2 targets.

The whole team had the dropsies last year.

Graphic comes from what I thought was a really good article in Saturday Down South

you will see them as the starters, but with a more spread out offense, we’ll be putting in different combinations of receivers on basically every play, and I think Dillon is a pretty important player in that rotation because of his speed

He was front and center in some of the first week of camp videos and pics. He is good to go.

Thank you. These guys just say how they feel not what happens on the field.
Without Dillon we lose the Auburn game last year.

Thing about Dillon is his drops almost all came early in the season, which is what created the impression that he couldn't catch.

The second half of the season he caught pretty much everything thrown his way.

I’d rather Palmer get more PT.

Jefferson, Chase, Marshall, McMath, Palmer are all future NFL draft pics.

Not sure what’s going to happen with Anderson, but IF he returns he is also in that mix.

Dillon literally made the play of the year for the 2018 season. If he doesn't make that clutch catch and TD run against Auburn, theres no telling where our season would have gone from that point.

He's fine in my book. I'm sure he'll show up when needed.

Yep. Just curious. Burrow put the ball exactly where it needed to be. Dillion could not miss

They’ll run some plays specifically for him (jet sweeps, screens) but he really shouldn’t play much within the offense other than to spell the other guys for a play or 2. Would be nice if he took a liking to Special teams like Gage did

Great work on those statistics by the guy you replied to! And kudos to you for calling out someone for “saying how they feel”....

Too bad those statistics don’t tell you how many of those drops were uncontested vs ones that were reasonably contested because it matters. He’s so explosive, he’s so fast.... well why doesn’t he get more balls thrown his way.... well let me see, could it be the guy throwing the ball doesnt quite Have the same level of confidence in him as some of the other guys?
You guys are great. At least you cheer for the right team!

And, I hope Dillion becomes a more consistent threat for the offense so we have another receiver that has to be given attention by the defense. Truth is, he’s fast and could be a big threat if teams believed they needed to shade a safety toward him.

Palmer is a lot better than Dillon.

Palmer is special.
