considering the talent he had on the offensive side of the ball I would say he greatly underachieved.

3000 yard QB? 2 1000 yard WRs and a 1000 yard RB?

how is that underachieving offensively?

What happened to Cam Cameron? Not much, other than the fact that hes paid very well to do very little. Maybe he will actually land a quality QB on the recruiting trail this yr with Franks or not be outcoached on gameday every week. Im hoping for either at this point.

2013 when we had a capable QB?

Mett wasn't just a capable QB, he was a rarity at LSU. A great college QB in his senior year throwing to two future NFL greats also upperclassmen. Harris, Jennings, and McMillon and Franks are more typical of what he will have to work with year in year out.

and how do you know that Harris, McMillon or Franks could not be a great college QB by their senior years?

Great individual achievements, yet when you add all those yards up it still adds up to 6th in total offense in the SEC that year.

just was checking those stats and it's actually not 6th in the SEC but 7th. 7th out of 14 teams with Mett, HIll, OBJ and Landry. Pathetic.

Oh, I almost forgot, he took all the credit for the the 2013 offensive explosion and took none of the blame for the 2014 offensive implosion.

How do you lose a game by scoring too many points?

Ask Texas Tech, Baylor, A&M, etc

Do I like ultra conservative? No

But I think it's more about wearing down an opponent and not making mistakes, for Les.

It's his team and that's his philosophy. He dgaf what fans say.

Well when you don't run hurry up spread you get less plays which equals to less offensive numbers. Efficiency is what matters and we were very efficient that year. #1 in the country on third down that year. Keep trying to minimize what the offense did that year but if was the first offense in the history of the SEC with 3000 yard passer, two 1000 WRs, and a 1000 yard RB.

I can't believe this is the argument you are making back at me. So your saying if we wait until their senior we may possibly have a good enough QB to finish in the middle of the pack offensively. Good grief man WTF!

We also beat the two teams that finished 1 and 2 in offense in 2013 so there's that.

so TExas A&M, Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and Auburn all run hurry up spread offenses because they all finished in front of us in 2013 on offense.
