Before that this team played with more effort and confidence. After that game it looks like they can't wait for the season to end. Was it Alluvia's comments, Hornsby getting hurt in the 2nd half of UT?

They beat two cake teams, upset Texas Aggies at home, then forgot the season isn't over yet

They've quit.

And this is one aspect that can't be put on Johnny (while most can). Johnny shouldn't have to get the guys motivated to go out and play with full effort with a chance to win the SEC and make te NCAA tourney. They quit at UT

Bull shine. That's what college head coaches are paid to do. Why is LSU paying Johnny Jones if he can't do this?

Because that's what college coaches are paid to do. It's what all coaches are paid to do. There are different methods of doing it, but it has to be done. No one is saying JJ has to be a yeller and screamer. But you can motivate players without being a yeller and screamer. Ultimately, if they don't give a shite, that's on you as a coach. That's why the coaches get seven figures and the players get room/board/and maybe a free meal at the dorm cafe.

Johnny Jones is there to coach X and O's, work with them to improve their skills, and manage the games. All of which he does poorly.

Alas, If as a college basketball player you can't get yourself motivated to win your conference and go to the Dance.....how the frick is a dead beat coach going to?

Explain geniuses

bullshite.

Nothing Johnny can say or do can get this group of lazy unmotivated players to play hard.

This is some of the strangest group delusion I've ever seen. Derp derp it's 100% JJ's fault. F1R3 H1M !1!1!1!

Dude if they quit on a coach, then yes it's the coach's problem. There's a huge problem right now, Ben doesn't even look at JJ during timeouts. Only talks to David Patrick. Something is very wrong and wholesale changes are needed ASAP

Why does JJ need to motivate them? Before UT everything everything was there for the taking. Lunardi had us at a fricking #7 seed. As a player that isn't enough motivation considering you've dreamed of playing college basketball and in the Dance since you picked up a basketball?

Apparently not.

Explain to me whats Johnny Jones' job? Stand on line with a suit? Employ godfathers of players that really don't want to play for him? Just what the frick does the man do? I can tell you he doesn't have an offense other than dribble shoot and certainly has no defenive strategy.

So it's not his job to recruit players and get them to play together as a team? frick I want JJs job. Apprently he doesn't have to do shite and makes millions.
