It was this, and it's not even close.

Only time I've ever pulled against LSU..........until this year.

1999 LSU at Alabama on 4th and Goal to win the game Josh Booty decides to be a hero and gets stopped short of the Goal and LSU did not win. LSU could have won 24-23 at Alabama!

Auburn 1993 by far . We should have won that game. Pain nothing but pain.

The southern miss game was my first in tiger stadium. its been a lot of fun starting at the low point and experiencing the ride up.

Miami ohio loss sucked pretty bad

I am 37 and really started watching football in 90'. So, my first several years as a fan were horrible. I remember in the 93 Florida game we drove down the first drive and kicked a field goal to go up 3-0 and then...you know.

November 12, 1994, USM 20, LSU 18 - Curley Hallman's last season. I've been to every home game since. But at the time, things were so bad that I stayed home and painted cabinets in the kitchen. It was the smallest Death Valley crowd since 1974 (announced attendance was 51,718, but LSU officials estimated the actual crowd was closer to 40,000). To date, Hallman is the only LSU coach since the formation of the SEC to have never tallied a winning record or coached in a bowl game.
This is the answer. That was bad. I had the misfortune of going to LSU during the Hallman era starting in 1991. People asked me why it was taking me so long to graduate, I told them that I was not leaving until LSU had a winning season.

none of those three, wtf you talking about?
the Interception game was the 90's pretty much for LSU.
It's one of the worst three losses in LSU History.

I agree with all the games mentioned so far. IMO the 16-14 loss to Vanderbilt ushered in the only under .500 decade in LSU history rather prophetically
(54-58); and the 41-7 loss to an Auburn team we were favored over (along with the painful 20-7 game against Houston) closed it out.

I have to agree that it was the game with USM. It was pathetic in every aspect.

Losing to Southern Miss in 94

If I am not mistaken that was a homecoming game also. Terrible memory. I remember looking to a friend and asking "Aren't we supposed to win homecoming games?"

USM wasn't on national TV as Florida game was. The stadium was literally empty in the entire fourth quarter. ESPN kept panning the stadium and having discussions on how far LSU had fallen. Lowest moment and we knew it would get no better.

Auburn 1994- 5 4th quarter INTs has to be an NCAA record and the fact that Howard was still in the game after the first 3 let's you know how bad the coaching was. At 4 of those INT's were all on the same play, at some point you'd think coaches would force him to adjust!

This. I was at LSU from 92-96. We were so bad. But every year we had a little optimism. I recall just wanting to win 6 games so badly so we could go to a bowl. The whole Curley era was a low point for LSU. It was such a debacle. When Dinardo took us to the Independence Bowl, I couldn't have been happier. I camped out to get tickets..... to the Independence bowl. Imagine doing that now.

Don't put that on Howard. That loss is 100% on the coaches.

They got a long TD run just before half that got them back into the game. The ball carrier was clearly out of bounds. If we had instant replay in 92, we win that game. Miserable night.

5 interceptions in 12 minutes of play in one quarter has to be the low point of 1990's LSU football

That's what I'm saying! When a guy has thrown 3 INT's, sometimes 2, you pull him! And the fact that four of them were all on the same play let's you know the coaches weren't adjusting the play calling and the defense just kept making the same read!
