did nothing here
Went to TCU
Did nothing there for a year
And now he’s great when the Big 12 became the Mid 12
but maybe we should have made sure he got catches over Thomas and Nabers.

Not to knock Bech but we had Nabers, Boutte, Jenkins, Thomas, and Lacey all in rotation. It was hard to find playing time for the guy. He even lined up at TE some. He made a good decision to get more reps.

This would have been a good year to have him. His stats last year would have been pretty pedestrian with Nabors and BTJ, but he could have been a top 2-3 receiver this year.

Keep in mind Trey Palmer had a better season than this last year at Nebraska and is essentially a bubble player in his first year.
And Nebraska plays in a better defensive conference than TCU
It is possible that he won't have much of a shot in the NFL
