1969 Ole Miss late come-from-behind victory by Archie Manning kept LSU out of a possible national title shot. More recently, Saban's last game in the hail-Mary loss to Iowa sucked balls.

What makes me even madder about 1/9/12 is that we didn't even have to win. If we kept it close like the first game we were all but guaranteed the AP title. We couldn't even do that.

Auburn 7-3 in the most obvious fix by refs in recent memory.

To this day I've never seen pass interference waved off for db contacting the ball first downfield

Tom Ritter's coming out party.

I've been on blood pressure pills ever since that very day. I took 12 advil from 6pm to midnight that day. the headache just wouldn't go away. had to go to the doc next day because of blood pressure.

This is just sad.............. I would NEVER let a football game get to me like that........... Being a fan is one thing, But letting effect your health is another........

It still should have except that Texas backed out of a tacit agreement to meet LSU in the Cotton Bowl; the Longhorns took advantage of Notre Dame's decision to end its policy of not playing in bowl games.

Don't blame Texas for this.. Blame the Cotton Bowl.......

next to 21-0, and then any Bama loss since they got Satan, it would be 2006 Auburn (I was there on like 10th row, 50 yard line with Auburn fans) or Tebow jump pass. that dick.

1979 USC...didn't make me mad, made me sick.

Losing to injury riddled Ole Myth in 2013 made me mad.

That was one of the best LSU teams of all time but don't think if that team played BAMA 10 times that it would be a 5/5 split. More like 7-3 BAMA. Only 1 team proved they were clearly better than the other in both games, and unfortunately for us that was BAMA in the second game.

Yes, Oklahoma State blew that game to Iowa State, but they also blew out Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship. They played the "extra" game.

No they didn't. There was no Big 12 title game. OU was the last reg season game.

losing to Ole Miss 27-24 in 2013 with their depleted 3rd string defense really sucked. We had Hill, Mett, Landry, and OBJ and lost to a far less talented team

Exactly. THIS loss simply means that we do not come to play every game...because that is the only justifiable explanation for losing to that team on that night.

A very close TIE for second were the 2012/2014 Bama games that we had in the bag only to go full retard on the final drives (defense) in regulation.

I blame our ineptitude on offense just as much as the defense for the 2014 Bama loss. We had 1st and goal on the Bama 2-yard line in the waning moments and couldn't punch it in. Miles' idiocy (fake punt on 4th and 12, running Ware out of the wildcat formation on 4th and 2, etc) set up the loss to Bama in 2012, although it was ultimately "3rd and Chavis" that was the final blow.
