Saban/Emmert and facility upgrades and keeping top recruits.

recruiting, facilities, tv exposure, have to keep improving in these areas, this year's recruiting class was disappointing

Saban came and shut down the State and had all the best players stay and play at LSU...and the rest is history we have been balling ever since

not the public school system
some will give credit to saban. but i will say it started with dinardo. he got top local kids to believe in LSU and not leave the state. getting k faulk to LSU and not leave the state was one of the turning points in LSU football.

We were a sleeping a giant, we just needed a coach that realized it

Dinardo made it cool for LA recruits to start wanting to play football for LSU again. I give him mad props for that.

What is DiNardo doing now? When I lived in BR, I went to his restaurant a couple of times and the food was really good. I know that his former restaurant is something else now.

If your answer is not Nick Satan your dead wrong. He built the cox center and got them to spend the money to attract top recruits. Saban was an amazing coach log before he got here. He learned at Cleveland under bellicheck. Make no mistake about it. Nick Saban could take any program to levels they never dreamed of! The son of a bitch is that good. Hell I bet he could fix the goddam economy.

You are wrong by a factor of...crap, I don't know, infinity. Yes, you need money to get results, but the sentiment that the more the better, I think we've had 100 years of government to show you how wrong that is.

Don't forget public education.
