LSU is bad. Alabama is good. That’s all there is to it. They couldn’t care less about the other schools.

They feel threatened because we have coaches and leadership that actually have spines now.

There is a pretty massive bias against Louisiana from white people in Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia. They think they are superior and we are just a bunch of dumb Cajun Coonasses. I’ve lived among them and heard it a lot.

They just assume Louisiana is corrupt and LSU is horrible. They like the idea of Tiger Stadium being wild, but they don’t actually want LSU to be good or competitive and they try to tear us down every chance they get.

That’s what’s going on. People like Finebaum feed into it. They think they’re better. It’s probably an ancient English-French and Protestant-Catholic rivalry, to be honest.

I think it's more than just their line-in-the-sand moment. I think this is more global strategy that tacitly acknowledges the NCAA has no authority over anything. As a result, they want to establish the principle that the conference can enforce its own rules because membership is voluntary and schools agree to abide by the conference's decision as part of being a member.

LSU or another school can shop its brand to another conference and depart. So LSU is not constrained except by the exit fee of $30-45 million.

Having lived outside of Nashville for a while I can say this is in fact true. They are Temu elitist who think they are better than they truly are. They can’t wrap their head around LSU having success. It’s why you constantly hear the same “they have no money” nonsense. They view LSU as the ebt crowd that somehow always puts the groceries in the latest model Escalade. No way we can have what they have.

that's really ignorant. the way i look at it is that we have some pretty damn good lawyers so they better watch their step.

and that's another screw up by the Ncaa and totally their fault. They set early signing day before the season is over, and Kiffin had to be in place by then. He had ZERO choice to do anything differently, but people make it like he just left his team. It was always going to be that way until the NCAA changes the early signing date to after the season.

I find it funny, especially listening to fireball the last week or two. These Alabama fans can’t stand it that the spotlight is not on them. You can tell it in their phone calls and the verbiage they use and these are some of the most ignorant stupidest motherfrickers on the face of the Earth and this baldheaded frick feeds right into it on his show.

He called Louisiana cesspool yesterday and I never was a huge fan of him, but that kind of sent me over with him right there

They are trying to establish conference self governance. That said, they picked on LSU because of all the new faces, especially Lane Kiffin. They could have drawn the line to exclude the Texas player and others like him, but moving the line to isolate one school made it easier for that poor excuse for a commissioner.

Also Finebaum needs to be called out by the LSU presence in national media for his bigotry.
