Sam helps bring in invited walk-ons into the program. He worked with my son and offered him an invited walk-on as a punter back prior to the 2007 season. Met with my son a couple of times, looked at film (DVD) and a letter showed up in the mail late spring with an offer. Enjoyed talking with him. I think he does many things that most people never know about. Wonderful gentleman.

He's also the LSU FCA sponsor.
When I was chapter President back in the early 00s, Todd Kinchen was our alumni huddle leader too.
Good times.

How can you have never heard of Coach Nader??
Super nice guy...I mean genuinely nice. He doesn't know me from Adam yet if I see him and speak with him he acts like we are the best of friends.
He runs heard on recruits while they are on campus, gets them where they need to be. I used to sit on the west side next to seats where they would sit some recruits...Sam was always there with them. He also used to assist in getting student-athletes jobs in the off-season. I used to work for a construction company that hired football players and Sam was our contact at the school.

I have no idea, all I know is I would be retiring from any job after 45 years. I could find something to do that doesn't involve punching in for work after that long.

He’s clearly an alien, but he’s a great guy and was with high school relations forever.

I’ve known Sam 30 years. He’s the ultimate nice guy. His contributions to all the coaches come in many forms. He is the best at organizing staff relations with both players and influential boosters at many functions . A true jewel held in very high regard by all that know him.
This must be true given how long he has been at LSU. And his head is as big as Jay Leno's. He's a smart guy.
