What does LSU have to do differently on the offense to beat Bama next year?

I didn't get to read what the coaches had to say after that 0-10 loss to Bama as I had to travel out of the country the following day, and I was out of the loop.
What did Coach O and Steve Ensminger have to say about being shut out? Did they provide reasons for why the LSU offense failed again versus Bama? Did they allude to anything they might try do differently next season?

Score more points than they do.
Next question.

Up tempo, get more creative.

Not get dominated at the LOS.

Not run up the middle every other play

Wait patiently for about four years until Saban retires. Short of that or massive coronary on the sidelines, ain't happening.

1) Cross the 50 yard line
2) Score
2) Score

Just lose Les Miles' old unimaginative and antiquated offense that has been the easiest offense in the SEC for years to prepare for, and install a new creative, unpredictable, and innovative offense in its place. The main thing will be to use various formations and misdirection plays in both the run and the pass offense to be able to keep the defense off balance and guessing and to also be able to spread the ball out as well in order to turn teams strengths into weaknesses and to open up running and passing lanes.
It's a new day in the SEC West now that Les Miles's old antiquated offense has finally seen its final days.

Boy, that zinger just never gets old!
Yuck,yuck,yuck.

Spread the ball around. It was clear that Bama (for 2 seasons) was not going to let LF7 run the ball, yet we kept trying to force it. Wasted plays really.

Get the damn fullback off the field

If you rewatch the game from this past season, the o line was anemic to say the least. I'm hoping for an improvement up front, because that was downright awful o line play.

We are going to see what Clemson does when they beat the crap out of Bama!

The Tigers need to consult with some NFL Offensive Line Coaches and find out the best blocking schemes and techniques that could be used for run and pass blocking with the personnel they have now. Successful coaches are not afraid to do it. Kirby Smart and Satan did it against LSU before the NCAA Championship game in the dorm to stop LSU's run game. Coach O knows enough people in the NFL to make that happen. It is thought because when LSU plays Bama everything shuts down as for run and pass. Again, it is a thought because that has to change soon regarding the Tiger's offensive performance against vs. Bama.

Yep! Bill B. Does the same thing in the nfl. Take out their best player or two and make them beat you without them. Not surprising Saban uses it so successfully as he learned a lot from Billy boy.
In theory you should have a "bama playbook" that is kept off film until we play them, but it would be difficult to pull off. Bama's defense is solid at every position so Canada will need to find the weakest links and try to exploit those matchups. While it seems elementary to state all of this, it seems Les could never figure it out.
I know the LOS is VERY important, but if you know you're outmatched there then it's the HC and OC jobs to help mask some of those deficiencies. Hopefully we see that attempted successfully next year.
Eta: also efficient qb play with the rpo executed well.

Who's primarily responsible OL player development and recruiting?
Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one...............

Yes, Canada has already gone on record to detail exactly the game plan he will use against bama.
The answer though is to score more points than bama.

Sadly, the philosophy of Les Miles was to "do what LSU does" without regard to opponents strengths or weaknesses. Not only did his game plans reaffirm this, but the man has said it many times. He never got it.

Once again you demonstrate just how football ignorant you are. It never crossed your mind why they have dominated the OL of late, and the fact that most any online in the country couldn't stack up against a team with the talent of bama that had no fear of being beat with the pass.
