Stop assuming you know something that Miles and the staff don't know. Take your 13-0 and STFU.
It's amazing how this record has changed many opinions on this board who have been VERY critical in past.

Yes, for good reason. There was a lot of terrible offensive coaching that year. But anyone who made a mountain out of a molehill on that "clocking" incident is a damn fool.

There was a legit concern to think that we had been Larry Cokered.
No. There wasn't. The real issue was how Miles was going to get rid of Gary Crowton, even though there were a whole lot of posters here at that time who kept claiming that the Crowton thing was way overblown because our QBs were so bad that it didn't matter.

What did JJ do that was so bad in the 1st half?
Missed RR on the first big play
Had a ball that could have been intercepted but luckily wasn't
He had a poor first half but he had limited throwing opportunities
And to the people saying that the intentional grounding was a good play...how is it any better or worse than a sack?

Posted on 12/4/11 at 7:35 am to jwill37
if anyone from UGA could catch a pass, he's picked twice. He under threw RR for an early 6. Then was overthrowing all his receivers. If a team is sending 9, you have to hit your check down receiver.

Its like an addiction some of you people have when it comes to making excuses for JJ.
The guy was pathetic last night.
The throws he made that weren't glorified handoffs were what you'd expect to see at a Jr high football game.
he wasn't even close on the majority of hi throws.
As I've said 100 times, thank god its almost over.
I'm sicking of having ti watch and I'm sick of having this fricking discussion.

But I thought ordinary people weren't supposed to question NC coaches who made millions of dollars?

How many passes did he attempt in the second half? I think that is a clue.
Posted on 12/4/11 at 7:44 am to Tiger JJ
Wasn't totally his fault but to me he looked rattles from the start. UGA played a couple of those passes perfectly and there wasn't much he could do about that. A few of them he threw way too high though. I thought JL should have come in just to give us a spark, much like they did with JJ in the Bama game. Worked out in the end but the Oline started paving the way for our RB to gash UGA.
FWIW, I couldn't care less who the QB is as long as we win. If they are in P&G I want them to succeed.

Well probably not after a 13-0 regular season in the SEC against one of the toughest schedules that any team has ever played

I can't believe Les insists on playing JJ no matter what he does. Its not JJ's abilities that concern me so much, it's his attitude and his actions off the field. JJ should've had a supporting role all year at best. Announcers can't mention his name without bringing up the "parking lot brawl" or breaking curfew/suspension. He's not a good representative for LSU at all.
I'm just tired of the whole debacle and it has definitely tainted the greatest season in history. Right now, I'll just be glad when they both graduate.

Typical dishonesty from you
Where did anyone say that?

You mean the direction that went from 7 win regular season to a 9 win regular season or the one that went from finishing 7th in the SEC to finishing 3rd in the SEC or the direction that went from not be nationally ranking to being ranked to the Top 20???
That was the direction of the program some were concerned bout?
That's just a copout by the little faith or cliff jumping or the sky is falling types to cover their arse for over reacting like bunch of school girls.imo

He couldn't throw. He threw bad balls all night.
And he won't look over the entire field. He missed a wide open OB Jr (meaning no one within 10 yards of him) on the first series that would have flipped the field. He threw a bad pass to Randle instead down the middle. That was a pretty bad one.

That's pretty much my attitude. I don't have a personal, emotional or moral stake in either of the two guys. I have, however, sometimes been surprised at how venomous some of the attacks on Jefferson has been. But whatever makes people feel better on a message board, I guess . . .
After sleeping on it, here's what I think is the deal with Miles and his quarterbacks. Bottom line, I think Miles feels that Jefferson is the safer choice in terms of turnovers AND he has that mobility. I think he's taking the conservative approach on offense at this point in the season.
In spite of the crappy offense in the first half, we were only down 10 and then, fairly quickly, only by 3. Apparently, the coaches felt that there was no need to panic and no need to deviate from the game plan (while Les makes the final decision, if some of you guys don't think the offensive staff has input on who plays, you're nuts). If LSU had fallen behind more or the game was truly in jeopardy, I have no doubt they would have given Lee a shot early on. But that wasn't the case.
Lee is the backup quarterback. He's now only coming in on an as needed basis. Some fans may not agree with the coaches' (plural) evaluation OR it may seem like a crappy deal for Lee, but the coaches are paid to win football games and use their best judgment. They're the ones with their careers on the line. There is no conspiracy to screw over Lee.

Im fine saying JJ played bad in 1st half as long as people agree that entire Offense played bad in 1st half

I didn't really want to come here for fear of endless "JJ frickING BLOWS" threads.
He didn't play well in the 1st half. But who did? Our entire offense looked like dogshit top to bottom.

I think you are the pathetic one.
We're 13 and fricking 0, beating the dogshit out of EVERYONE and you are praying for the season to end so you don't have to discuss Jordan Jefferson anymore?
Give me a fricking break.
