You keep saying this, but I don’t think it applies here. LSU’s colors will always be purple and gold no matter the combination. No one has a problem identifying them.

And again, gold/white/gold is what you’re going to see on the field for every single high profile matchup that people are going to care about and watch. Not Northwestern State, not Vanderbilt, but Florida, Bama, Auburn, Georgia—all the big ones.

I think you can rest assured that when Texas comes to town next year, even though it’s the second non conference home game, we’ll be wearing the classic look—because we know the nation will be watching.
