Nothing for me eventhough I will admit I was never happy with the hire from the get go but certainly have gone to games when I lived down in Gonzales and will go to the games this year to pull for our Tigers but Miles winning me back ain't happening.

I respect (but do not understand) those who want him gone now, but win the SEC this year and in my book he stays and is welcomed back...that would make 3, more than nay coach at LSU ever..in fact more than any active SEC coach but one....I see ZERO positive in not giving him a chance to win from here..if he loses fine, he goes...Do I think we win the SEC, no..do I think it is possible- well of course..see 2001 after home loss to Ole Miss....or 2004 after home loss to UF, or 2007 after home loss to Ark..

What I would like to hear him say is "I really sucked at my job quite a few times lately. I know that at my salary you don't get to suck repeatedly. Therefore, for the good of the team and the program, I am stepping down after the JSU game and Ed O will be running the show for the rest of this year. Thanks for all your love and support."

If it's going to be more of what we heard yesterday, I would rather he just be quiet and try to win as many games as he can this year, then leave.

I can't be won back. 01/09 sealed the deal for me and I've been waiting patiently.

Simple: WIN (and not make it look like a fluke) the SEC and get us in the Playoffs.

I love the dude. But, it's done. Time to move on

pretty much this.

IF he came out for the next 14 games and dominated every team offensively, won the SEC and NC. I might turn a blind eye to the previous struggles and give him another year.

So in short, he gone.

If Miles and his staff had the ability to make a wholesale change the team's offensive philosophy mid-season (a la Urban Meyer), then I'd say he had a chance of winning me back.

But I don't believe that he possesses that sort of football IQ; therefore, there is nothing Les can do (short of playing for a conference championship... and maybe not even then).

I would love him if he transferred a 7 figure $$$ sum from his account to mine in the next week or so.

nothing.

I don't want to hear anymore shite like, "We look forward to the opportunity to play a quality opponent for a chance to accomplish a significant victory."

I cannot stand it.

1.) Bench Harris. I've seen enough. He's not a Gamer in "Big Boy" games. No touch or accuracy. Can't read defenses. Panics too easily. Poor throwing motion that either hasn't been "Fixed" by Cameron or can't be fixed because of being uncoachable.

Let Etling and Scott finish out the season as the QB's. 60-40 run/pass ratio with most of the passes in the 5-15 yard range. Dink and Dunk to the TE's and RB's. (See Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Florida State with their Freshman QB's doing this)) What do you have to lose?

2.) Fire Grimes immediately. Let Kevin Mawae come in and finish out the season. Implement a simpler One on One Man to Man blocking scheme that's much easier to actually play with minimal mistakes in a game. What do you have to lose?

3.) No more Juan Carlos Betanzos "Sky Kicks." Just kick the fricker out of the endzone.

Those are the main 3, but it's all pipe dreams because none of it's going to happen unless the team really implodes quickly and loses a few more. Miles is going to remain stubborn and defiant till the very end.

It's "Lame Duck" 1998 Gerry DiNardo 2.0 all over again.

Hmmmmm.....dye his hair bleach blond and stand on the sideline wearing an Elvis cape. Then I might...might...reconsider being won back.

he's stubborn but far from a buffoon.

If he would have changed the offense he would have won almost everyone back

depending on what your def. of "changed the offense" means. there are some on here that think that is full blown spread. my def. of changing it is mixing up the plays and spreading the ball around. have BH from the gun and passing the ball about 45 to 50 per cent of the plays.

BUT, the big change imo has everything to do with CONTINUAL POOR EXECUTION by the players and by the offense staff in teaching OL assignments and getting the damn play in on time. add the miserable results in punting and kick offs and you have the reason for my giving up on him.

I feel like a sucker thinking he was "coaching for a job he wanted" and was going to bust his arse seeing to it that our team got proper coaching.

I feel betrayed. no way he can win me back (or no way he does because our offense and ST will not improve much).

I would certainly reevaluate he we win the SEC this year. but, we have as much chance of that happening as me winning the lottery (and I don't play).

team could go 11-1, win the SEC, go to the playoff, and win the Natty and people would still call for his head.

This has about the same chance as a auburn going undefeated this year
