Washington is a good team and no slouch.

It' weak but in the end it doesn't matter. Besides we did our part of playing a difficult ooc last year with Oregon & WVU

I would prefer playing top 20 teams rather than beating up on teams with no shot. The better the teams the better I like it.

do you think this will hurt LSU in rankings, because CLM does not like to run the score up?

North Texas & Idaho = joke, Towson even more of a joke

Not so sure.

Towson is ranked high in 1-AA preseason.

Top 1-AA Teams > Shitty 1-A team.

it sucks and it's the worst OOC schedule I can remember us having. Only one decent team out of 4 with the other 3 all being from CSB or non AQ conferences.

I'm worried about October 27th the most.

They are no joke.

Outside of Washington the OOC schedule is embarrassing and will have everyone bitching about the empty seats in Tiger Stadium again.

Will not really hurt LSU though if they win the SEC. No one wants to watch LSU play Towson though.

With the exception that we are airing it out. I think we would all love to see that no matter the competition. Been so long. But considering the likely early blowout, I don't know how much we can expect. But that would surely keep the seats full.

The Towson and Mean Green play calling is what will interest me. That and get a sense of who the 'go to' RB will be.

It will take Washington the entire first half to get over the shock & awe of Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.

Bama has shown us the way: schedule easy OOC and lose your marquee game and it'll get u to the NC. Why do anything else?

OOC schedule I can remember us having.

2003 - ULM, Arizona (who was beyond terrible), Western Illinois, and La. Tech

2004 - Oregon St., Arkansas St., Troy

2005 - Arizona St., North Texas, Appalachian St.

It is no worse than MANY other OOC schedules LSU has had.

it's bad but 2008 was the worst. App St, North Texas, Tulane and Troy.

Last year's schedule made the season all the more special as far as I was concerned. To play (and beat) two teams that turned out to be champions of BCS conferences and away from Baton Rouge to boot.

Another opponent on the level of Washington would have been fine. Then two cupcakes in addition wouldn't have been bad. Idaho and NT are bad...Towson inexcusable.

I wish we could have left Towson St off of it.

Funny you mention 2004 considering we pulled a couple of wins out of our butts.

It's deff weak compared to last year, but that was an abnormally hard schedule. You don't see teams playing that hard of a schedule, especially in the SEC, every year. With that said, we have some hard road games this year. Auburn, Florida, AM, and Arky. None of them will be easy.

I like it. UW is ranked 26th in the Coaches. That's all you need.

I'd rather we played Southern or another state FCS team than Towson. If that's your biggest complaint, life is good.
