What are the roles of guys like sage Ryan and chestnut moving forward?

It’s clear zy alexander and Denver Harris along with Ashton stamps are gonna be the top 3 corners moving forward as they each provide length, size and plus athleticism.
It kinda leaves guys like chestnut and sage as the odd men out as Greg brooks mans the nickel so it isn’t so simple as moving them to the slot plus Sams and burns are the safeties. Do they simply get relegated to special teams moving forward ?

They'll rotate Stamps and Chestnut at cb and Sage at nickel.

Ryan needs to get a shot at major burns spot

Agreed. We need to try out different guys at both Burns and Sams spot. Nether can tackle

Agreed burns has been struggling badly with his tackling. I know he’s the leader of the defense but he’s been a flat out liability at times so far

Sama has been a big disappointment he’s another guy they got a bunch of hype in camp but it hasn’t translated into good on field performances even tho I will say he wasn’t bad at Florida state

I’m not giving up on Welch yet either. He has all the physical tools…just needs to put it all together.

It’s so evident but this staff has blind loyalty to Burns
Ryan is one of the fastest players on the team, and, in Kelly’s words, one of its best open field tacklers.
Kelly also lauded Ryan’s football IQ.
It’s quite amazing this hasn’t been tested.

Hopefully limited. Chestnut has really not been that bad, #4 for FSU, is a beast and made some really beastly catches with Chestnut hung all over him. Ryan, well doesn't appear that he gets it.

Seems Ryan has failed in every position. Chestnut is a depth piece

Except perhaps his most natural position.

Chestnut is absolutely terrible and should play a role hidden on the sideline. Ryan should be hidden/ shielded from coverage.

He's literally the Russell Shepard of defense.
5* safety that's never played safety.

Or he’s literally the Maason Smith of Tigerdroppings… tons of hype that has never been seen at all to be justified at the SEC level.

Man i don’t want to see Sage Ryan on the field expect in mop up time. The experiment is over.
