This, because we aren't playing Southern on Tuesday.

LSU will get up by 23 runs and put in all the subs and squeak out a close one in the first game. Southern then dominates and shocks the world and we lose our number one ranking.

LSU will make sure to get playing time for their younger players. Even if it means they have more of a chance of losing, they will still play a different lineup and/or starting pitchers for a mid-week game. Losing a mid-week is common for championship teams. It's not the most probable outcome, but it is possible.

The best way to do it is by odds.

10 to 1?
50 to 1?
100 to 1?

Would you put up a 100.00 to win 1.00?

Our bats will destroy Southern's pitching.

I thought it was a typo but looks like Southern Miss couldn't reschedule so we asked Southern University to come down.

Didn't believe it until I went to USM sports website. Funny part is: they'll be in New Orleans playing UNO LINK

too much trouble to reschedule that and play a doubleheader? morning at Barrow Stadium in NOLA East and 7 p.m. at Zephyr Field?

Chalmette probably has a better chance to upset Jesuit than Southern has though... maybe if they had the Rickie Weeks team though... how'd they ever get him?

If we were to drop 1 or 2 of our next 5 games, I'd rather lose to the Jags and sweep Ar-Kansas.
