Why is everyone so dead set on getting someone who was once at LSU? Is it because that is the only people you guys know to mention as options?

I would be happy with Butch since they want to bring back the Louisiana connections.

Not much of an accomplishment when you reel in your godson.

I mean, I'm assuming he had a hand in getting guys like Rolle, Koundjia, and Randolph. I can't imagine those guys were like "frick yeah LSU! AND COACH BRADY!" but that's just a guess.

That's what I am getting at. He wasn't anything special in terms of recruiting. He has a few guys sort of land in his lap. How has he done since leaving LSU? He hasn't really set the world on fire.

OK State signed LeBryan Nash last year and he was a top 5 player in the country. They also just signed Marcus Smart a top 10 player in the country this year. They were both from the Dallas area. We also signed Randolph from the Dallas area when Butch was here, so im thinking Butch might have something to do with that.

Pierre is not about to get fired. OK State knows what went on last year with the injuries, so it was like a wash and most of the fans are excited for next year. Pierre's helped recruit 2 McDonald's All American's in the last 2 years up there and with everybody back except Page, they now have experience to add to Marcus Smart and Phil Forte next year.

I don't think Pierre would wanna leave now. They could definitely be Top 25 at some point next year, even be in the race to win the Big 12, cause Kansas's recruiting class hasn't been stellar just yet.

I can't see Travis Ford lasting another season, maybe two, at Okie State.

I think it completely depends on what happens this year, and unless they have a lot of injuries again, they should be at least a tourney team

He also has two Louisiana players at okie state averaging about 10 and 8 points respectively. Those two players are also constantly on the top ten plays on ESPN.

With their roster and with Mizzou and A&M going to the SEC their road to the tourney just got easier. The Big 12 will have a lot of turnover next season.
