Watching the highlights from 2018 when we were ranked 25th and Miami was ranked 8th in the country. It seems almost an absurdity now even in one season of change. Miami ended up losing to Louisiana Tech and we have one of the best teams to ever walk the face of the earth. Oh yeah and we beat their arse in this game too.

Oh yeah, and it’s strange watching Burrow play under center.

And it was not a fluke. Tech had the better athletes, except for Martell. He must be a real head case not to be seeing the field, because he was the only difference maker they had.

Sorry to ruffle some of the Ruston fans here but that wasn’t the point. No matter how good Louisiana Tech is Miami still decline so rapidly from last season to this season. That’s all I’m saying. If LSU would’ve done the same thing and lost to tech at the end of the year Coach O would be unemployed right now

And no matter what Miami still have no business losing to tech, that’s not a knock on tech that’s a knock on Miami

Can we take credit for starting both of Miami's declines?

LSU broke the U twice in the past 15 years.

That 2005 Peach Bowl beat down began the end for Larry Coker.

The 2018 win began the end for Mark Richt.

Couldn’t happen to a better program. They had it coming.

Their arch rival almost lost in overtime to ULM. That’s how far down the ACC has fallen. There’s only one team over there right now.

Tech had a couple of difference makers the past few seasons in Arik Robertson and J’Mar Smith. Robertson is better than anyone Miami had this past year, and Smith was a good college QB.

That said I agree with your point. Miami should have had an advantage everywhere else on the field.

Was the ACC ever really that good? LSU is 24-2 against ACC teams since its inception.

They never completely came back from the 2005 @$$ kicking in the Peach Bowl. They were trying to rise up last year but we kicked them again before they could get off the ground.

LaTech looked like the P5 team and Miami looked like the G5 team in Shreveport.

Skip Holtz has hilt a solid G5 program in Ruston.

And Tech played LSU a somewhat decent game in 18.
