Why don't you stop being a dick and restrict your input to 5* players, as the thread suggests?

Goose,
Do you know who Claude Wroten is?
Dude was one of the most dominating DTs to wear purple and gold- that statement destroys all credibility.

I think some folks have too much in the way of expectations of a 5 star player. In my mind, a 5 star meets expectations by being a signficant contributor and being better than SEC average for his position.
Here is my take:
Rival's Five Stars:
Justin Vincent - strange. he exceeded expectations for a while - remember the Heisman talk for his soph year? - and then he failed to meet expectations thereafter. Unusual career but given that he continued to contribute later in his career as a role player, I say "met."
Xavier Carter - failed to meet (in football)
Early Doucet - easily met expectations
Claude Wroten - exceeded expectations! he was dominant.
Ryan Perrilloux - he showed flashes and likely was the reason we won the SECCG when Flynn went down. but he gets a "failed to meet" if for no other reason that he just never played enough due to getting booted.
Keiland Williams - a sometimes starter whose career was dotted with big plays. also the primary reason for the running game getting going in '06. Given the entire body of work and splitting time with a number of other backs who have been or will be drafted, I say "met."
Al Woods - very close call and Woods did contribute. But was he ever more than an average SEC DL? Failed to meet.
Terrance Toliver - the potential was there for more, but he was still a starter and well above average in the SEC. he also carried us in a couple of games. Met.
Chad Jones - somewhat like TT but maybe a little more consistent. met.
Patrick Peterson - Best cover corner I have ever seen at LSU, lots of honors, etc. Exceeded.
Craig Loston - I
Russell Shepard - I
Rueben Randle - I, but this guy looks like he will meet or exceed.
Chris Davenport - I
Spencer Ware - I (but I like what I have seen)

Pretty positive Michael Clayton, Marcus Spears and Ben Wilkerson were all 5*s that met expectations. Pretty sure Marquis Hill was one too.

Chad Jones if it hadn't been said

Just curious, did these rating systems exist with Cecil Collins came out? I still wonder what he might have become if he wasn't such a degenerate.
