The joke would probably be funnier if it was the WVU admmission's application....we only have a few players from WV on our roster...you guys are just making fun of Florida, Ohio, & Pennsylvania.

Let's see we have one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world 90 miles down river. Our populous is made up of French descdants, Spanish, German, Italian, African, Viet Namese, Islenos(descendants of islanders from the Azores), as Cajuns call them Les Americain(people that moved here after the Louisiana purchase). We have one of the longest traditions of opera, and philharmonic music in America. We have a city/state known the world over for its' cuisine. WTF does WV have? A history of nothing, a culture of yogurt in the fridge, or as they have ice boxes.

Why is it a crime infested, murder capitol, rat infested shite hole? More crime and murders there than most any where. Make fun of us all you want, have fun with it, stereotype us, but you know what? You can have you crime, murders, hurricanes and voodoo devil worship. Just promise me one thing? If you come up to Morgantown next year and enjoy yourself with all the humble hospitality, promise me you'll leave after the game and go back to the gangs, drugs, looters and crime.

Morgantown really isn't like the rest of West Virginia. Seriously, its not backwoods at all. There are the occasional rural group of people, like in every down...but its not as bad as you guys are claiming. Plus WVU is a good school. Just because admissions are lower and cheaper so that people in West Virginia can afford to send their kids to college doesn't mean its crappy. WVU has a very good engineering, medical, and business school...as well as one of the top forensics programs in the nation.

I am not saying that WVU is Vandy or UF but LSU isn't exactly on the cutting edge of academic excellence.
Particularly given the state of budget and Jindal's lagging support for the "flagship".
