What are people’s opinions of the west upper chairbacks? I’ve only sat in the lower bowl (student section or family season tix). I imagine it’s got a great vantage. Just curious if you feel “removed” being in the uppers

It can be less rowdy up there for sure, unless it's a packed house where everybody is into the game. It's a great view though. A little more space. Not a bad place to sit.

Never sat anywhere other than the 50, 30 rows up, the student section, the suites and the stadium club.

Sat in upper West a few times, and my parents had season tix there for a little while.

It is a good view; but I just don't care to sit up there because the vibe is different and you feel more removed from the emotion of the game and stadium, which, to me, is the reason for going to games. But if it is the only ticket you can find/afford for a big game, then I wouldn't pass it up.

So in other words, your opinion is useless and therefore unneeded.

But it probably made him feel cool to brag about it on a message board.

Best game (bama 2000) and seats I ever had in Tiger Stadium was the west upper chair backs.

I've never seen a person who needed to attempt to prove their self worth by bragging on a message board more than you. You must live a miserable life.

The first two rows of tiger terrace is like watching from the suit level.

Great view and in my opinion far and away the most comfortable area of the stadium. You do feel a little removed though.

I sat their once for 2010 BAMA and sat in the first row of the Tiger Terrace this year for Florida. Tiger Terrace is okay, I would sit there again but you do feel a little removed from the atmosphere. I probably wouldn't sit any higher than that again.

I don't mind sitting up there. I don't feel removed at all. And if you are going to sit up there, might as well get the chair back.

We currently sit in the west upper in the chairbacks. Great vantage. Doesn't get as intense up there, except for the big games. If you're a fatty, walking up the ramp and stairs may be an issue.

I love my seats there. It's like watching the coach's tape, where you can really see all the plays develop. I really prefer to sit up there rather than down low.
