Ticket relocation is coming soon! I'm planning on moving from the East Uppers to the West Lowers... Whats the lowest row that you can sit and still see above the players heads? I've heard that Row 2 is miserable, but how high do I have to go up before it becomes a great view again? LSU's web says up to row 10 has an obstructed view. Any suggestions?

Definitely not lower than ten.

what day are you picking? going from east uppers to west lowers is a huge upgrade, unless you stick with the lower rows.

My tix are elsewhere, but I've used a friend's before in the lower west first five rows. I can promise, the novelty of being so close to the LSU bench wears thin in a hurry when you realize you don't have a good view of the game.

yeah, and you don't get a discount on the donation fee from the people 10+ rows up. $425 for the ticket plus $1025 for the donation is way more than I would ever spend for those seats.

ETA: Had greek tickets when I was in school on the ~25-30 on the first 5 rows. sucked really bad, but might be better now with the bigger jumbotrons to watch the game on.

If you're currently in the east upper bleacher seats...YES.

If you're currently in the east upper chair-backs w/armrests...NO.

The seats in the west lower are cramped. They're very uncomfortable if you're tall.

With last year being the exception...many may want to relocate to the west if we keep playing so many day games. Looking directly into the sun during day games royally sucks. The east advantage of hearing the band was neutralized several years ago when they relocated to the north endzone.

I used to sit there all the time, and would never want that to be my permanent seats until I got up to row 35 or higher, you find yourself not being able to see very well unless the play is in front of you.

Depends on how many players are standing on the bench waiving towels.

I would rather my seats in EUD 2 rows above the chairbacks way more than the chair-backs seats.. I pay 360 per ticket and that's its.
The Sun is going to suck for everyone in the EUD. No exceptions.

We do have the chair-backs w/armrests right now, about the 40yd line, almost to the where the bleachers start. But I would avoid going to the early day games because of how hot it got and facing the sun all afternoon. Plus, from our view, we got to see all the shade the Westside was enjoying. We tailgate on the west side of the stadium, so closer would be a benefit. Also, the lines alone trying to get up the escalators to the Uppers made us miss many kickoffs.

That's worthless without sideline full of players staff and equipment.

my favorite seats were at the top of the west upper deck - always shade unless an 11:30 AM kickoff, and always a breeze up there. you could see the whole field too. go to the top rows of the lower west and you will have an overhang for the "stiff dew" that occasionally falls from the sky.
