I mean yeah I notice when LSU coaches say dumb stuff because I’m an LSU fan and I see a lot of what they say. I only saw what Wes said because it was posted all over this board. I’m sure other coaches say a bunch of dumb stuff all the time, I just don’t really care about what they say because they don’t coach for LSU. Jay has had hundreds of media sessions this year and I post about two of them and all of a sudden I am always complaining about what he says?

Nah more that you were psychoanalyzing every word out of Brian Kelly’s mouth during football season.

I remember because you were you melting over Brian Kelly’s comments about being pleased with defensive progress, and when everyone told you it was coach speak you argued that it wasn’t.. then he turned around and fired the entire defensive staff.

I also remember you finding something to complain about in every other football press conference thread.

And then there are the constant not-so-subtle shots about what guys have said in their press conferences, such as in this very thread, when nobody else is even talking about them.

Some of y’all need to learn what a true melt is. Questioning or being slightly critical of a coach or player isn’t a melt. I didn’t deny that coach speak exists, I said that didn’t consider what he said coach speak. I thought it was an unnecessary thing to say at the time. I don’t know why that upset some people so much. I know coaches don’t want to throw players or other people under the bus, but sometimes I think they say things that don’t need to be said. Me saying that doesn’t mean that I think Brian Kelly, Jay Johnson, or Wes Johnson are bad coaches.

Again, coaches say dumb stuff all the time. When it’s LSU coaches saying it I’ll post about it because I’m an LSU fan and this is a LSU board. I do the same when I hear Moscona or Jordy say something that I think is dumb. When Iowa’s coach says some dumb shite I don’t post about it because I don’t really care.

Exactly. People are making a big deal about nothing with this BS. He stated a fact. Hunt Palmer stated the same fact on his show. No reason to get butthurt about it. LSU still won the game.

It's one thing to say something silly, playing politics to make your team look better, but it's universally frowned upon to fail to give the other team any credit when you lose a game, even if they don't deserve it.

It just so happens that LSU deserved that credit today. This game wasn't close, and LSU missed tons of opportunities to make it much worse. How in the world does he think LSU was just handed a victory? Does he simply believe that every loss is a game his team gives away?

Dang. What a shame Wes didn’t realize that they were playing in Hoover until after the game. I guess that is why coaching matters.

Damn you really have a problem with me using a LSU coach as an example on a LSU board. I’m sorry that upsets you. Btw, I don’t think our coaches are dumb.
