I never moped at all about that one loss. You are taking this too personally.

I like every other Tiger fan am pissed about the offensive decisions during the national championship game, but it is time for most of us to stop moping about that one embarassing lose. We beat two very good OC teams away from home - WVU and Oregon. We beat Bama in Alabama and UGA in the Georgia Dome. Everyone else we pretty much vaporized.

Last year was perhaps LSU's most dominate ever. And we could be much better in 2012. Time for us to stop sulking boys. We will be a forced on offense next season. Book it.

Thanks man. I needed this.

We were like the Buffalo Bills except we had the better team and our coach had a bad night

Bama 11 >>>>> LSU 11 period. Even on Nov 5 they out gained LSU by over a 100 yards. Saban lost that game by being way too conservative.

Last year was LSU's most successful SEC record in 60 years and all some posters care about is Jan9th. Some LSU fans are becoming entitled. Also people forget how young we were last year. Most knowledgable fans thought that 2012 would be our run.

We out rushed them. IN THE SEC the team whom rushes for more yards wins 85% of the time. It's not LSU's fault Saban decided on kicking career long fgs. Also both of the Lee's int led to Bama's fg

Yep, Lucky Les. Maybe he'll bumble his way to a 4-3 mark this November against 'the greatest field general since Kublai Khan'.

You sure you're not a Tide fan because this is the Bammer mentality.

You misunderstood me. Les definitely ain't lucky as he's given Saban 3 losses. What I am saying is that the fans on this board are making up every excuse and conspiracy theory possible for the loss on 1/9/12. The truth is Bama was the more talented team in 11. 12 will be a different story.

My post was a response to the "offensive philosophy change" post. People bashing Miles and the qbs after that season we had is getting old. I trust that Miles will allow us to pass more next season.

IMO, Miles greatest strength is the ability to self analysis. He sees his weaknesses and works hard to change them. In 2008, we passed the ball a ton but int and lack of a running game killed us. I trust that changes will be made, but allege negatigers act as if we should just give up all hope that we will make any changes on offense to improve.

I completely agree with this. Miles has certainly shown the ability to adjust and improve. It may not be as quickly as a lot of us would like, but to think he's the same coach today as he was in September of '05 is plain retarded.

By the same token, Saban has shown the ability to improve as well. The tards who hero worship him and long for this mythological magical tenure of his time here while conveniently forgetting that we lost 3+ games in every season save '03 do not reside in the real world. Saban is a much better coach now than he was when he left in '04. And I think it's a feather in both coaches' hats. So far, Saban has clearly collected more, but we'll see how the next 8-10 years pan out. It's going to be exciting.

Not everyone reads this shite every day? That's my guess. You can sure pluck out the DBs that do though.

In case you just climbed out from under a rock bro, the "1" was the NC game and has the weighting of about "6" of the 13.

So in this case, 1 >>>>> 13.

Agree, both have improved. Saban at LSU was not the Saban of today at Bama. However, Saban has a better ability to strategize in game situations, think on his feet, and gameplan. Miles has a better ability to relate to players, motivate, and build team chemistry. Depends on which method you think is best, but both coaches would be aces if they would just incorporate BOTH methods into their coaching toolbox. FWIW, I think Saban's method over time is better, and Miles method is unsustainable. Miles method may work in a one game or one season situation, but is not suited for the long haul.

You realize LSU is going on 8 years with Miles and he continues to win at an elite level and poised to make another run at the title this season with talent stocked for years to come? I fail to see what the "long haul" means to you.

Seriously, your response doesn't make any sense given where the program is today and showing that it has no signs of slowing down.

But go ahead and keep waiting for failure. You have been so anti miles that you almost need him to fail so you can prove yourself right. It isn't happening so you might want to enjoy the ride we are on and te golden age of lsu football.
