You don't remember Cutrera getting that roughing the passer play just before we sacked Todd for the big loss during UAs last series

That was Alem that got the penalty. and then he came back and got the sack on the next play.

thought I saw a white No. 54...guess not. didn't get to see the replay on the big screen. Whatever the case, it was huge that he came back with the sack on the next play

btw, how in the hell can jasper kick the ball in to the endzone one time, but not even make it past the 20 on the next kickoff. Maybe they tell him to kick it high and short so our guys can get down there to tackle before the returner gets any momentum...but, I say put it in the back of the endzone everytime!!!

I really dont understand the concept of this. If my kicker can kick it out of the endzone he will be kicking it out of the endzone every time. I guess they are thinking they can cause a fumble. Other than that

O i just saw Lee's TD pass to C Mitch

Lee really hung in there and took an absolute shot on that TD pass.

Considering we were playing at the barn, the officiating was better than I expected.
Stats say we were 5-55, which is an improvement over the 1st 2 games.

Yea, the intentional grounding they didnt call was probably the most glaring of the night.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the quarterback hit as his arm was going forward? If a quarterback is hit as he releases, you'll almost never see a grounding call. Whether it was the right or wrong call, you be the judge, but I wasn't surprised at the no-call there, and I can't imagine myself as an official making that call.

LSU only had 5, and from the looks of it, I found LSU more aggressive. That usually means slightly more penalties.

Anytime a Les Miles-coached team plays a big opponent and manages to squeak by with only 55 yards in penalties, .

Holding to my promise. Not anything like 2006, which is history to me now. I saw a receivers mask being held on to in front of the ref on one of our scoring drives, but I am happy that this year there appears to be no game changing plays by the refs. Thank God

Aww, horse shite. I'm just saying that anytime you play aggressively ("Let 'er Rip"), you'll get a couple penalties. That roughing the passer penalty was from a guy being just a little too aggressive.

Same thing as Nolan Richardson's Hogs. They usually fouled more than their opponents did, but that's because they played a highly-aggressive style of defense. It's just how those things go.

I was curious that on the Auburn pick-six play, LSU was flagged for illegal motion, a dead ball foul; the pass should not have happened and therefore no interception and no easy TD. But that is just me.
