Reagan gave a commencement speech in Tiger Stadium in the 80's. Bush 43 did also, but it was at the Assembly Center. Don't recall any others.

For graduation 1994. Jimmy Carter was the speaker. Also, Bush, Ford, and I believe Reagan were there for the dedication of the Lod Cook Center

Several of them were present for the Lod Cook alumni center dedication. Don't think they made an appearance in the stadium though.

He was not president (yet) and not in TS, but Bill Clinton was commencement speaker in the PMAC for the May 1989 class while governor of Arkansas.

At some point in the 90's when they opened the Cook Alumni Center I think Carter, Bush 41, Ford and maybe one other one where there for the opening ceremonies. I remember seeing a pic of them with LSU hats on.

Elleshoe, the LSU accomplishments on the field were worth a lot more than to have three presidents present at one time! Those are meaningful, lasting memories for the entire LSU family, while only those present at the time could have lasting memories of the event.

May 20, 1994, proved to be one of the most glorious moments in the Association's history, the dedication of the Lod Cook Alumni Center. The stellar event included toasts from special guests Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush. The awe-inspiring gala included congratulatory letters from Presidents Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, a 21-gun salute and a spectacular fireworks display.

From the Lod Cook ALumni Center dedication.

My dad was there for that event. It happened to be his 50th reunion (Class of '44) and he became a Golden Tiger at that time. I know he talked about being in TS for part of this as well as Lod Cook. I'll have to find out more and see if he has pics.

All of the living presidents were at the Lod Cook opening night. Nixon had just died I believe so it was Ford, Carter, Regan and Bush.

I just found the picture in my 2001 football media guide. Its a picture of Bush Sr, Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford. Jimmy Carter has a LSU straw hat and Bush and Ford have LSU baseball hats on. The caption reads: Lod COok was the lead Lod Cook alumni centeron the LSU campus and in 1994 three of his friends, former presidents of the united stateds Jimmy Carter, George Bush and Gerald Ford came to LSU for the dedication of the Alumni Center.
