You appear to think this is our first dance.

We first attended in 1958 and y’all in 1981. Neither was a championship game. And there are fans that remember both, but a 30 year old today was born in 1989, so we will not count them.

But that same 30 year old remembers 2000 well. And championship games were already held.

So LSU appeared 3 times at the dance before your first, and we have been to an equal number of dances, four. And we are 3-1 at those dances compared to y’all’s 2-2.
