Super Tecmo Bowl Jerry Rice couldn't catch a lot of these balls Jennings is throwing.

Harris looked great against Moo state but got his first start at Auburn, one of the loudest stadiums in the country. Not really fair to him. He has had time to work on it and should be ready to go Saturday.

Didn't have anything to lose by that point in the game.

A little investment giving him more reps in real games, and he will be good to go.

Sorry we kit the point in the schedule where we are playing real teams. The time for kids to "get some reps" is over.

I think it is a shame, but at the same time Jennings has won some ball games. He hasn't been spectacular, but he turns iton when it counts. No other time but when it counts.

I'm not positive that Harris is the answer, but I think he does deserve an opportunity to compete for the job on the field, which he has not been getting since his bad first half at Auburn

I'm really trying hard not to call you an idiot. Idiot fans think that if they don't personally see someting it didn't happen.

So you don't think Harris has had a chance to compete for the starting job since the Auburn game. You know they've had five weeks of practices since then? But you didn't see 'em, did you? They still happened, though. And Harris got plenty of opportunities to show the coaches that he should get another opportunity in a game. The coaches aren't seeing it. If he shows them in practice he'll get game time. Or do you think every shitty player should be put in a game until you, KeepIt100, gives 'em the thumbs-down?

You really gonna say this after what Harris looked like against Auburn?

Performance in practice is somewhere between SAT score and criminal record in terms of things I care about.

Harris was under zero pressure vs Miss State. That's about as pressure free as you can get - your team is way behind; defeat is all but certain; if you pull it out you'll be a hero; if you don't no one will blame you.

Look, I'm hopeful that Harris will be a superstar. I assure you, if he is, the coaches will see it and play him.

In that case, thank Christ you aren't a coach.

Be honest, how mad does it make you that Brandon Harris is responsible for more scoring touchdowns than Anthony Jennings this season, despite playing a fraction of the time?

Are you saying SAT score and criminal record don't matter? OK, Jimbo.

I'm sure it's already been pointed out how moronic your thread is but just wanted to say Alabama isn't New Mexico St.

Harris is the only QB on our team who has looked terrific throwing the ball at any point this year. He has even looked like an NFL QB at times

HOLY shite. At no point has BH looked like an nfl qb. Not once. Having great arm strength doesn't make you a nfl qb.

More upvotes than downvotes. Looks like you're in the minority here.

Weirder fact: Harris is not LSU's leading scorer. Colby Delahoussaye is. 57 points. You can look it up.

I love it. Biggest game of the year is 2 days away and some of you hard heads still don't get it. Jennings is playing and he is playing for a reason. Put your Harris hard-ons back in your pants til the spring. Then, the kid will get another shot at the job.

Check again.

You do know there is more to playing QB than a bunch of stats, right?

Being the minority here is a good thing. On the Rant, absurd thought processes are usually supported. Especially when it comes to Jennings/Harris debates. The dude is clearly more talented, but attempting to question the coaching staff's competence by pulling out an abscure stat inflated by State's defensive bench and New Mexico St. is funny. Harris will eventually be ready and probably do great things, but he's not ready yet.
