Whit Weeks has a right fibula fracture and will undergo surgery.
Likely 6+ week recovery.
Gut-wrenching loss but one that the team can overcome. He loves LSU and is an emotional leader for the defense so he will continue to affect the game from sideline.
Sad to see it happen to an all-time great Tiger.

Z Weeks had a couple good tackles but his replacement was really good
Dottery is every bit cerebral as Whit Weeks. Without question. When Weeks went out dying the sole Piss game in 2025. It killed the defense.

He’s a great Tiger and embodies everything you want as a player and leader, but sadly he’s injury prone.

Has not been confirmed. Speculation based on mechanism of injury, ability to bear weight, player reaction, and placement of boot on field.
Good question about him possibly returning for another season at LSU after this. Would certainly make financial sense but he may be ready to pursue NFL career.

I’m not worried about the LB room as a whole, it just sucks that it’s the one with the green dot who got hurt. Fortunately #6 has worn that helmet before.
